Are you serious? These games have been around for yonks on PC. And even Dreamcast/PS2 days. It is just ols school shooter action.
This is a UT/Quake/Halo Hybrid.. it might end up a decent game but all i'm seeing here is Quake 3 Arena style gameplay repeated over and over.
I prefer more in depth games these days. Coop games like KF2 are much more fun than this as a shooter but that's just IMO. In any case i don't see much of a Doom game in this.
Yea if you have 2x 980Ti cards in sLI probs, then you suffer micro stutter.
1080 and 1440p with high refresh is more satisfying. Realistic smooth visuals than 60fps with huge dips at 4k. Any fast or medium paced game is much much better with high refresh rate. With 4k you get huge dips in fps with action going on.
Anyone want to disagree go look at benchmarks for high end gpu and look at the minimum frame rate parts, not average or max fps.
Even though DDR4 is pretty cheap now (you can get good 16GB kits for under £100) they wouldn't do bad staying with DDR3 tbh, there's not much in it in real performance for games.
They would benefit more putting the extra funds to a better CPU/GPU. Most DDR4 kits are really barely any more expensive than DDR3 now though.
Uh, no. There's so much more they could do.. quick example:
More randomness in the maps
More types of special and common infected
Different weapons
Extra hazards which need team work to overcome faster
Day/night cycle with random weather
Multiple escape points to stop campers.
If you played the game much you would know there's still a lot more they could do with this ...
I'm guessing this game will have the same issue as TP in that it will release on both Wii U and NX, but because of that it will be stuck with Wii U level graphics.. Unless they enhance them a lot for NX.
My problem with this is that it looks too much like a UT, Halo and Quake hybrid game and i am barely seeing any Doom in this. Also what is up with those 1 press kill animations? Them type of things usually suck in games.
I was hoping this game would have coop campaign.
I guess the game might be decent but it isn't really my idea of a proper Doom.
No physical buttons = fail, this is the reason mobile phone gaming is lame.
Meeh, I'm gonna go with Hey Arnold, the (american) football head since he was before family guy.. Family Guy is kinda a rip off of Wait til your father gets home anyways.
45hz would be terrible.
even the 60hz feels a bit low compared with high refresh displays
30fps feels pretty low when you're used to 120/144hz monitors, low fps like that feels like strobing and above 60 is buttery smooth.
A single 980 Ti might net 30fps but that is the average frame rate, meaning it will drop much lower in intense sections. For 4k it really needs multi gpu which works awful these days as anyone will tell you on forums. Plus people still complain of micro stutter with 2 gpu's and either nvidia or amd are not doing anything to fix it.
"Wow that's pretty lower then I was expecting."
Dude, please learn the difference between the words then and than, it is so irritating.
Its a guy playing with a controller, stuff is always gonna move awkwardly without kb & mouse especially in fps games.
