Killzone just ain't my type of shooter so Im not worried about it.
There is no Halo killer. Ever since Halo 1 came out there was never a Halo killer and there will never be one.
MGS4 is some old mean guy fighting robots Gears 2 is a group of soldiers fighting for hope and the survival of humanity really why would MGS4 win story of the year when Gears 2 is more epic and badass

This happened to my Xbox so my mom bought the 199$ version on the thanksgiving special thing and I got 2 free games with it and an HDMI port. No hardrive so I used the one from my old one. All I have to do is call again and I ll have myself another working xbox so I could play system link So Im kinda happy I got RROD cause Microsoft has great choices for the consumers.
A few good exclusives doesn't gurantee the PS3 had a better year than 360. The 360 introduced a lot of new ideas and innovating games from all genres. FPS RTS kids 3rd person shooter survival horror you name it. It presented a more friendly user greetings to 360 owners. Bottom line 360 won 2008.
Its the 360 controller. Its comfortable it has a lot of colors the shape of the handles are more fit for gaming. It has triggers and bumper buttons. Why do you think multiplatform games get higher scores on the 360 for? Because of the controller.
First of all Gears 2 had the best campaign story. The horde mode is the best feature installed in any game this year. The 360 had top quality games like Fable 2 Left 4 Dead Banjo Kazooie Viva Pinata C&C3 RA Ninja Gaiden. The reason being that the PS3 had a ton of Megaflops and the 360 had decent titles not in the flop range. In terms of multiplatform 360>PS3. GOTY Gears of War 2.
Nice one Gamedaily you spoke the truth and Gears 2 takes more skill than R2 plus that Scorge guy beats every monster in R2. Sound graphics and gameplay goes to Gears 2 EAZY CHOICE!!!
If Gears of War 1 would release this year instead of 2 then Gears would have still beat Resistance 2 in Game of the year because it has the best gameplay.

Haze is power rangers. Halo 3 is going to be better because of the design save films and other goodies. This is good game but vs Halo 3 is not as succesful as the halo series. I think Halo is better than Resistance 1 but as for 2 we'll have to see if they can pull it off because the PS3 is dying.

2008 was the year of the 360 because you added games from which you had in 2007. In 2008 PS3 gamers had for the first time games over 9.0, MGS4 LBP, 360 added to that list providing more enjoyment for us 360 owners. Overall Microsoft provided more choice for the 360. If the games that were released for the xbox in 2007 were in 2008 we would have still beat the PS3's rookie lineup.
