for every dev who plans to make a 3rd person vr game in the future, use fixed camera spots with flexible angle controlled by how you move your head and maybe some autozoom on the character if the area is too big. kinda like an evolved version of classic re1-3 games.
of course, only a small amount of people have the patience for permadeath.
