@gold_drake I can't believe how many people agree with your statement. The layout of the DualSense is not copyrighted, the design of this controller is not 100% similar to the DualSense's. You don't get lawsuits for designing your product similarly to another's unless they have the exact same layout including button placement and shapes, symbol design, logos, etc. which this doesn't. You will find several 3rd party controllers that look very similar to DualSense's desi...

What loophole? The game is 7 years old ffs... Most people already got the game already, you guys gotta justify all their anti-consumer decisions smh.

Last thing was a question I asked him about the dualshock 4's touch pad before it got released. I think he got fed up from getting too many questions so he started blocking people, which is understandable I guess.

Same! He blocked me on Twitter though lol.

Have you read the article? The censored part in this game though is actually the color of a character's blood. They were forced to change the color to green instead of red. It doesn't make sense when other games are allowed to show red blood imo.

"in-game advertising for console games is not something we're currently looking at"

That "currently" is making me real uncomfortable lol.

I don't believe Sony alone is the sole factor in indicating the entire VR industry's growth, the new VR they're making might be a risky move for them if third party developers are losing interest in the technology, perhaps due to the low accessibility rate compared to non-VR games thus lower sales, but I really hope that's not the case and that the technology maintains it's relevance in gaming.

They already have been merged before with HoloLens. The technology is there, it's just not applied for gaming yet.

Not sure why you're being downvoted. I would do the same, it's a matter of preference, even though I do see a lot of value with Game Pass but I still prefer to own my games as I probably won't be subscribed forever.

Not really news, Sony has always been delivering frequently, and Jim did mention previously that there will be more exclusives this generation than the last one. Either way, I can't wait!

Huh? Not sure if you're reading the same article. I've been scrolling through and got bored halfway through, a lot of those are AAA games, both western and Japanese.

People keep forgetting PS3 games are hard to emulate due to the fact they're built around Cell architecture which happens to be one of the most challenging processors to build games on. Not only will it cost a fortune to make it happen but it'll take a lot of effort and time as well.

@oof46

Wasn't an obvious joke. It sounded like a serious comment to me.

@Tedakin

I've read that Game Pass is sustainable and that a lot of developers think it's good enough but that was like 2 years ago.

You do realize PlayStation Plus isn't free and it also offers "free" games. Netflix isn't free yet it offers a huge catalog of movies/TV shows. Downloading games or watching movies on those subscriptions is supporting these studios not hurting them since they're getting funded by the providers.

I'm so happy they listened. This should be an indicator that our voices as users have power in making/changing decisions. We should still keep in mind that the announcement of shutting the stores down will definitely come in the future, probably not anytime soon until they have some sort of a solution to fix this. PSP store shutting down shouldn't be an issue as Vita's store already supports many PSP games.

Just because I bought a game off sale doesn't mean I'm not supporting it. Not everyone is financially capable to buy games at full price frequently. Pirating games on the other hand is what can hurt the developers.

I remember Sony said once its PS Plus games are based off Metacritic scores of 70 and above (or something similar).

Pretty much. If the battery dies, and you don't have internet, it's game over.

1827d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

The problem lies with the fact that you can't play your games whether digital or physical anymore after the CMOS battery dies AND PS4/5's servers are shut down, since if you replace your battery, you need to connect to PSN at least once before you get to play your games. This is the problem that everyone's talking about. Sony's servers for old consoles won't last forever. I'm hoping Sony would upload a patch to eliminate the need of connecting to the servers once the b...
