If I knew it was this easy to get to front page of N4G I would have written an articlhahahaha nah, its so easy to get to front page of N4G these days, all you have to have is a sexy babe/have nude babe, someone dissing a popular game, or anything patcher related even though anyone with two brains(which N4G is lacking these days) would know is full of shit, he knows the same amount about games as I do astro physics.
It's not really a major component to a game that has never had single player in an actual sequel not counting the spin offs. Granted in saying that it does not excuse the single player for being lackluster. They could have gone and not included it like normal but they did, so they have a chance to make it amazing. Granted, CoD never made headlines about its single player, at least until ModWar1&2. Even, then there are still people who own who have never played the single player.

FYI I did not say it was MY favorite game of all time, I said it was considered by a lot of people to BE. @kostchtchie_ how was it the one that killed the series their are games before RES4 that were terrible and RES5 was in a category all on its own. Granted it is NO 3, but you have to give 4 a go, it is the last good next gen RES game we are going to get for awhile. *fyi my favorite game of all time is NOT a horror game, It is Beyond Good and Evil.
You have to play RES4, there is a reason why it is considered one of the greatest games of all time. It was the first and only time a RES game mixed horror with controls that actually did what you wanted them to do. Granted the new ones suck so much suck its not even considered a horror genre any more. just another "zombie" shooter
NI Nu Kuni was a refreshing RPG, the like that don't come out all the time, granted it does have its flaws, but they are minor and inconsequential when compared to other RPGS. The Tales games are refreshing as well in a different regard, they have amazing stories, and decent and sometimes amazing written characters. It is just a shame that we rarely get any of them over here in NA.
It is not exactly like Ni Nu Kuni, and if you consider yourself a RPG fan and have never played a Tales game go play some of the older Tales games, like Symponia, Abyss or Vesperia.
It was original Called Square Soft until it merged with another company called Enix, Hence the name.

Yup, my friend always uses it as an excuse not to play games, my biggest complaint is, what is the reviewers preferred game to play? what is his favorite game of all time? if reviewers started doing that I would take a little bit more stalk in what they say.

Touche' I would agree with your definition, but I would still disagree with the term semi rpg, the term RPG goes further then just playing the role of character. To determine whether a game is an rpg, you need to look at several areas of said game not just one, for Rpgs have always been some of the most difficult to lock down; does it have strong detailed charcters that progress as the story goes on? I would agree with your there for the majority but I would place games higher on the list just because I think they did more for the sereis then a few you listed
