To Xof: I just looked it up to make sure I remembered right. I wouldn't say it denies the fan theories, but it does somewhat contradict later games. "The spirit of Link's ancestor, the Hero of Time, teaches him his secrets. Ever since returning to the Child Era, the swordsman has lamented the fact that he was not remembered as a hero."
And personally I think the creepiest things in any Zelda game are the Shadow Temple theme music and Dead Hand.
It was specified in the Hyrule Historia that he is a the spirit of the Hero of Time, and teaches Link his sword techniques because he regrets not being remembered. This article is just about the games... no need to get overly technical and confuse people who haven't read it. Besides, it gave me an excuse to throw in a little humor.
You know if you doubt the validity of your own information, you shouldn't publish it. There's also no source listed for this (highly questionable) information. I don't know why you would think your personal experience of calling 5 local stores would mean that pre-orders are maxed out across the board. You can delete your own submissions, I believe.
That it is. I own all the music from the trilogy. Some of the best soundtracks out there in my opinion.
It would only be right for 343 to pay homage to Halo's roots.
Have to admire the cinematic quality of game trailers these days. Pretty impressive stuff.
What they've shown looks good. I just hope they don't try to do too much too soon.
I can honestly say I've never come across a game that I felt had a bad soundtrack. They're all good. Narrowing it down to the best of the best? Challenging. There are some that aren't on that list that I personally enjoy and consider one of the best, but for the purpose of writing an article like this it's important to stick to what many people know and like. You just can't put every good one into a top ten list.
If it were a list of games no one has ever heard of, it probably wouldn't get nearly as much attention. Nothing wrong with games that are mainstream either.
Don't quote me on this, but wasn't there some information awhile ago about the next console Zelda being more open world? You never know what they have up their sleeves.
