The music, the writing and the delivery in this game is fantastic. It's not going to win any beauty awards for visuals and the combat leaves something to be desired. I am however thoroughly enjoying my time with it and suspect it will be the most criminally underrated game of 2018.
Well that was nothing more than a nice screensaver! Years ago the private demo of The Witcher 3 never saw the light of day so I'm not very optimistic this demo will either.
LOVE the Metro Games! ^_^
You're "sure?" Resident Evil 2 IS coming to Xbox, as is Remedy's new game "Control." All the Sony exclusives shown did not even have release dates.
@ nucky64 And when are any of those games releasing? 2019? 2020? Oh that's right, no one said a word. Also, Remedy's "Control" is coming to Xbox and PC as well.
~I had no issues with Deus Ex being mostly first person except for when you entered cover and cutscenes.
~And we're finally getting Metal Wolf Chaos in the West! ^_^
~I honestly thought this was a "Remember Me" remake. + It got shown right before Resident Evil 2 so there was way too much overstimulating stuff happening at once. But Remedy, so... Sold!
"Behind closed doors demo" for Beyond Good & Evil.. 🙄🙄🙄
~It was dreadful. But I suspect FF VII will be shown tonight, possibly something else from them? Also Resident Evil 2 and isn't Capcom supposed to show one more unannounced title? (Aside from RE2 and DMC5.)
Alright, I have to admit, Rage 2 looks like a lot of mf'ing fun! Like Borderlands (for current gen) + Wolfenstein + Doom.
~I had no idea Andrew W.K. was such a talented piano player.
Great to finally see Cyberpunk 2077, Metro and DMC5. I liked it. I assume this means Sony gets to show Resident Evil 2 tomorrow night?
Watching this happenstance last year late Sunday night after Bethesda (while texting my friend about Bethesda's conference) and having absolutely nary a clue what was going on (I actually thought it was a short film satirizing the industry at large) was absolutely brilliant.
~He said it's a buy.
I really don't care about exclusivity, I mean I've been in the Xbox camp since 2007 and I've never touched a Halo game and I played 20 minutes of a free copy of Gears of War and thought it was awful. Believe it or not there's a whole separate faction of Xbox gamers who don't care about those tired franchises, despite poorly thoughout articles telling you otherwise. How about something entirely new and heavily story driven akin to the first time everyone saw BioShock, Metal...
The addition of "So Called" in the title is completely unnecessary. Give criticism where criticism is due. Don't glamorize a game and whitewash it's shortcomings because it's still "socially acceptable" to do so at the moment.
Probably one of the best games I have ever played. I did apl the contracts, almost all the side quests, both expansions and I even waited for the Xbox One X update which improved the visuals and shortended the load times. 188 hours and I wouldn't trade that time well spent for anything. It was a wonderful experience.
No you should absolutely not play MGSV. If you've played 1-4 and still want more then play Portable Ops and Peace Walker.
I'll admit I did have quite a bit of fun playing Andromeda, it wasn't good, but it wasn't bad.. just kind of "eh." I regard it as a spin-off title akin to Metal Gear Rising. Just enjoy the ride and don't take it too serial. I must say though, I thought it was better than Mass Effect 3. Anthem however.. yikes! ZERO interest in that especially after E3.
