I’m not watching the video because it’s almost at release and I’ve been hyped for years. I just wanted to see what y’all said about the gameplay. So far it’s meh by consensus. Half is meh the other half is still making preorder bonus jabs or wahing about it lol. I’m hyped regardless but that’s disappointing.

They are doing both. They were doing 3 games in first person and doing the remakes in the updated re4 style. I agree that re2remake deserves a continuation. I don’t feel that the RE3 remake did that. It was very cinematic and static. Maybe I just need to burn through the first couple hours to get to the good part but it didn’t have the re2 magic and I stopped playing.

When the returnal treatment becomes standard it’s going to be wild. Right now it’s barely being used. Going from returnal to re village it was highly noticeable and kinda disappointing that it wasn’t there lol.

Yeah I think that’s the sweet spot. 2 really big games, 4-5 AA games and smaller titles. Every game doesn’t need to be as massive as assassins creed. Immortals did good on that front. The shorter games are fun too.

Yeah I haven’t played or wish to play the originals. I’d probably put 5 above village though and switch those. I know that game pisses people off lol. I just have good co-op memories with 5. Top 5’s are all based on personal memories.
Yup. Everybody has bias. It’s natural, environmental and genetic. if someone doesn’t think they have bias they just don’t know what their bias is. For example, you can look at n4g commenters that love to sell Sony products. There are a significant amount of them. It’s not just one or two.
