I played on a PS4 just 3 hours ago at a PS4 Lock In event at GAME (British gaming store). The games were definitely running on a PS4; I checked out the UI (it was limited since it was a demo kit) and it awesome. The games I tried were FIFA 14 and Knack. Since it was an public event, no 18+ (M rated) games were allowed. Still it was an amazing experience.....dat controller. But even then, haters gonna hate.
Naughty Dog is owned by Sony....
"The Xbox 360 launched a full year before the release of the PlayStation 3, and consequently the PS3 has never quite managed to catch up with the amount of Xbox 360 units that have been sold"
Huh? Didn't the PS3 already cross the 360 in total sales worldwide months ago?
If you're talking facial animation, then for current gen that title goes to L.A. Noire.
Actually ND never said that their next game was not going to be UC or TLoU. In fact, they never said anything about their next game.
Oh...subtle attempt at trolling there. I don't what pisses me off more...your comments or your picture....
Well, in that case, why does Konami release PES every year if people believe FIFA is far better? It's because they can. Competition is always good. Out of the 5 million gamers that buy basketball games, maybe 500k will buy Live 14 this year. Now because of that, 2K will strive to make a even better game next year to will back those gamers, so it's a win win.
I would recommend that you watch some gameplay videos for both games, keeping in mind that one is an exclusive and another is a multiplat, then deciding. I personally am going with KZ, but if you find that BF4 is more to your liking, go with that.
Well, I've seen many off screen videos on youtube from E3 of games such as FM5, BF4, KI, etc, and the video on the TV screen seemed smoother than the area around it. My point is, off screen, it did NOT look like 30fps on YT, but "seemed" like 60.

Notice that the gameplay is recorded off screen and feels like 60fps even though it's ...
The GTX 770 is a great card, and not too expensive either ---> great bang for buck. I guess you can wait for the 780 price drop as I personally feel it's too overpriced for it's performance. Then of course Nvidia is said to be releasing the GTX 770 Ti soon with the GK 110 core, which should be a good card. So it all depends on what games you want to play, do they all have to run on max settings, the resolution, your budget, etc. Maybe compare benchmarks and perhaps even go for a ch...
Although I'm not exactly sure what framerate the game is running at, but if you record a 60fps video off screen, and then play it at 30fps, you can see the relative increase in frames in the off screen video compared to it's environment, hence, you can tell if the game is 60fps, even if YT is 30fps; ONLY if it's off screen. With direct feed videos, you won't be able to tell.
Actually, "most" PC gamers don't have that kind of specs. Keep in mind that I'm not including the ones who play farmville or candy crush, but the ones who actually play proper PC games. Just because you have a 770 (I have one too), doesn't make it the norm. Majority of PC gamers have GPUs similar to a 650ti or 7850. And CPU wise, majority have an i3 or a fx 6350. Only 5% of all the PC gamers in the world have high end rigs.
Well, the BF4 beta already uses around 9 GB at max settings. So future games might start to use even more.
450W PSU for a Titan and i7 4770K? Really?
90fps? Nice. What's your GPU?
This got me thinking. What if, the PS4 version isn't really gimped, but still ran at the same resolution and framerate as the Xbone version? I mean, think about it this way; the PS4 version would be equivalent to PC High whereas the Xbone would be PC medium. They both can run at the same res and framerate, but visually, the ps4 version would be superior.
Funny thing is, if you watch some PES 2014 gameplay on current gen and PC, it seems a lot graphically better than FIFA 14 on next gen. I enjoy FIFa, but if PES can give awesome visuals and animations on current gen consoles, why can FIFA have that for next gen?
That comment is complete BS, as it is known that the ps4 gpu is between a 7850 and a 7870. Another GPU that's between a 7850 and a 7870 is the GTX 570, which I had in my rig for quite a while. I used to play BF3 on max settings at around an average fps of 55, and dropping shadows from ultra to high and AA from 4xMSAA to 2XMSAA gave me an average fps over 60. So I know for a fact that the next gen console versions of BF4 will look as good as BF3 on your PC in 2011. If it doesn't, then ...
