Never once had a problem with one of there PC games. They've always been much much better than the console versions. Seems to me they should just stick to PC and forget about consoles since they can't even get a stable framerate on those on top of all the bugs in the console versions. The only reason there isn't one of these articles for every single console game released is because you can't actually fix those you have to wait for patches.

No but you can play the much superior definitive edition of Dark Souls 1 on it and also have access to a library of games that puts any console to absolute shame. Already 522 Steam games released this year alone and more highly rated exclusives this year than any other system.

Not only what decrypt said, but also the old consoles were weird hardware configurations which took time to learn. This gen it's all x86 hardware which devs have been programming for decades now so there just isn't as much to squeeze out of them. Add on top of that is dx12 and vulcan releasing on PC which will let PC games be "coded to the metal" which will provide much much higher performance boosts to games for PCs than any console optimizations will be.

Hahaha yeah right. Driveclub isn't doing 1/10th of what Project Cars is doing on a high end PC. Driveclub can't even have more than 1 car on the track before it has to swap out models for lower poly ones and can only have 12 cars max. Meanwhile Project Cars can have 55+ cars on the track which are higher polys than DCs. Lets not even talk about physics, the actual amazing damage modeling,aa,that mythical effect called 16xaf which the ps4 can't even handle,the ai which is about 100...

Yeah cause buying a game for $5 bucks just screams getting screwed hahahaha. If I enjoyed getting screwed I'd just buy a console and pay more just to play online than the game at full price all while praying that they don't shut the servers down after a year. Point still stands if you're going to buy the game get the PC version because it's by far the best version of the game. Funny how even our bad ports are still far better than the console versions.

A bad port that's still the best version. If you're going to get it might as well be the best available. 3 months is no time at all when you have so many other games to play. It'll probably be $5 by the time I can get around to buy and play it. The mods alone make it worth buying over any other version available.

Just get the PC version and you'll get both. While you wait the short time for the multiplayer patch you'll have 100,000+ other amazing PC games to play.

Well hopefully they've had time to fix all the bugs and glitches that are in the console versions before they release the definitive edition. At least we know they won't have to downgrade the graphics to do it like they had to in the last patch for the console versions. Hopefully you guys did a good job beta testing it for us.

The amount of amazing PC exclusives just keeps growing and growing. It seriously seems like every couple days there's a new amazing PC exclusive to play. Just in the last month we've had City:Skylines, Reign of Kings, Pillars of Eternity, and this. It's so easy to see how good PC gaming is these days when you realize other systems have to wait over a year just for one good exclusive to play.

I'd like to see your sources on that nonsense :P PC gaming has been thriving for a long long time now. It makes more money than every console combined just on games. There are single games that have more players on PC than all of consoles combined players!If that's what you call being on "life support" then I declare console gaming flatlined and dead.

You should go check metacritic because no other system has had as many good exclusives released this year so far as PC, just like how it took the exclusives crown last year by far. PC gaming isn't back because it never went anywhere in the first place. It's still the best place to play with the best game...

That's because under all the flash lies a totally average at best game. It's plagued by some bad design choices like the horrible rubberband ai, the bad physics, stupid penalties in place of destruction, and wonky handling all which led to the deserved 71 meta score that it has. I'd say it could be fixed with a ton of work, but after they gutted the studio I highly doubt it will.

I've never had a friend NOT notice how much better my games look on PC. They're always blown away when I put games up on my TVs.
