I don't see how the Wii U failing has any bearing on the success of the next Ps4 or Xbox.
The Ps4 has already shown it has a lot to offer, and a lot of people are excited to buy it. The Wii U, on the other hand, has been seen by most as an overclocked Wii that isn't worth the money, and never really woo'd anyone with great looking new releases.
I swear the word "exclusive" is what some of you think about when you masturbate. So much so that there's no argument to it anymore - you just blindly toss the word "exclusive" out there as if it carries any weight at all.
The PC has plenty of exclusives of its own, with multi plats looking better on it to boot. It will always play FPS and RTS games better than a console will, in terms of controll, and most games in terms of visuals.

That's very easy right now, actually. Hence why most multi plats look best on the PC.
In fact you can "cobble together" a PC today that will run next gen graphics before any of the new consoles come out. All it would take for most is one or two upgrades at under $400.
The problem with you console fanboys is you forget most people only have to buy upgrades, and not an entirely new PC.
Sony have already shown they are developer friendly while Microsoft are still foolishly keeping silent about their console.
As a developer, who would you pick; developer friendly, or *maybe* developer friendly?
Obviously not as fast as DDR5 or they would have mentioned the speed.
