Killzone 3 had a buttload of pre-rendered cutscenes (in 2D and 3D) and redundant data to help with the read speed.
I was actually contemplating that, but it turned out that my digital copy from Gamersgate is cheaper than buying a physical copy.
But honestly, I'd rather go digital unless I can get a physical copy on launch (or earlier if I'm lucky), and that's kinda unpredictable over here, since most shops favor console games than PC games.
