Sony "may" have some great games coming......that's a big may.
Also Lou,as we've witnessed already,PS3 games aren't selling all that well,and unfortunately,sales are what controls a products future Lou.
And MS is gunning for Sony,so don't think for a second they're going to give up on the hardcore gamer.
It's just that MS just wants a piece of Nintendos casual consumer Wii pie,
that's all Lou.
But my main question you need to ask youself is this....
Sony blew it.
They should have put most of their Playstation division financing into advertisement and gaming this gen.
Sadly for gamers,they chose to focus on the Blu Ray movie format and paying corporate idiots like John Koller to blow hot air.

The PS3 fans are extremely backed into a corner right now(like this whole gen).
They really need this game to score and sell well,and they desperately need the bragging rights on this one here.

As far as multiplat games went last gen...............YES.
The ps2 was almost always the lead system they developed on,
and the 1st XBOX got the weak port,
therefore proving my point,that the PS2 technically held back the XBOX 1.
And all civilized people know,the 1st XBOX was the superior console.

With the minute imperfections aside,NOTHING on the PS3 comes remotely
close to the awe factor this game produces(Left4Dead maybe).
Everyone I've showed this game to,has gone out that day or the next to slap down their money down on a 360 and 1 or both of the installments.
That exact number is 8 people in all.
That's 8 people that won't be getting a PS3 because of this amazing piece of software.

It was the same story last gen,when the 1st xbox was the better and more reliable system,but was still outdone by the PS2 for the EXACT reasons you mentioned above.
