Very underrated ,very good and very special game.....i started with the remastered version of the 1st GR and i became instantly fan with its superb atmosphere and aesthetics , also Pleajeune area music still plays in my head whenever i remember the game ...GR 2 had only one minor negative --->the variety of the enemies , while they were very well animated and designed , from start to end you confront the same enemies again and again ..its a shame because everything else is perfect
imo the game is exceptionally good and indeed shows how much SP gave attention to mechanics and visuals in order to present a good balance of historical accuracy, fun gameplay and beatifull environment setup to fit in a game ...
.if a Japanese dev had made the game would have given attention in other things...like characters , dialogues , mini stories (where probably would depict a bit better , more fun stories and not all the time depressing stories).

Mega fault from Sony there....Either that didnt buy the franchise back when its value was at lowest point because Activision s inability to make games, either that they gave almost for free the original blueprints of the first 3 Crash Bandicoot games (+CTR which are still Sony/ND' s property) in order the mediocre remakes to be developped without being exclusives for PS4 ..

ok it is overstatment to say it predicted future elements or events ....Kojima is just an overeducated and very well informed guy in history , politics , military technology and sciences so it was easy for him to include all these thing in his game.....all the above events or tech mentioned had happened before and were existant at the time of MGS2 development , they were just not known to most of the people who doesnt concern so much about politics and military conflicts around globe..... ...
probably they quit trying to compete with Sony and just release a generic console-type-thing for those who dont have PC -Windows....all their revenue comes from windows and they centered their attention there for games ....also stupid moves by Sony(relasing Death stranding Horizon for Windows ) basically empowers MS and their Xbox ecosystem as they have to pay MS rights for the game to be released on windows and additionaly PS loses its exclusive catalog

.fantastic detail and mechanic never seen in a game before......i m playing for hours now and i didnt understand why all the time has foggy -rainy weather with thunders .....the game really is the most beautifull farewell to PS4 .....we r lucky they released it even in the end of PS4s life and didnt kept it for PS5 because other hyped "masterpieces " left us with bitter-sweet taste
Kojima is God , Kojima is the last of the master oldschool developpers that know how to create properly a game from start to finish....
While the game is very good from every aspect and the more you play it the more you like it... i would admit that the protagonist was a bit bland ...i would like he had better appearance (some japanese model for example) and a bit more tough or thug character (samurais were know for their brutality and head collecting)....though this is the only minus in unanimously beautifull game
they spent more money to mocap actors for cringy speeches rather than graphics themselves /s ...Still to beat og Halo CE in gunplay feeling and fluidity of the battle ...Is MS still cares that much for Halo ? i wonder
tbh the problems are not GoT s specifically but open-world genre s generally ....and the main problem is that all open world since Far Cry 3 (someone did it before but i dont recall it now ) probably follow the same motive of enemy appearance and progress---> clear enemy bases , enemy patrols and enemy bosses random in basses along with sometime interesting sometime substanceless routine sidequests to gather equipment..
This .is not a bad concept for the adversaries...
this is not bad for Sony ... i hope Sony cares more about the actual visuals of the game ,like geometry ,lighting effects , color depiction and photorealism (at least in their exclusives like Nintendo does ) rather than having ultra 4K 8k definitions that nobody cares while playing the game
offcourse since they created a sloppy mess with FF7 Remake ....they game has ton of unfinished assets from graphical standpoint , doesnt manage to recapture the original cyber punk world atmosphere with its crude environments and the remade plot along with the added stories is at least childish and boring ....is nowhere near the og game , and it is a huge wasted chance for Sony/Square to create a modern masterpiece
Sahid Ahmad talkes nonsense no matter if he is ex executive ...PS3 no matter the difficulties was nowere near failure /or failure of Playstation brand .... exceptional games released on it under Sony s guidance (MGS4 absolute love there ) ....the problems was nt Sony s , but Japanese devs should take the blame for , as they bored to exploit the system and collectively jumped the wagon to develop games for X360 or Mobile
