probably the most detached REvil in the series (and for my tastes the worst) .....everyhting inside RE8 doesnt make any sense in the lore of RE
It is like Ridley s -Cameron s Aliens after some sequels to become The Nun horror movie with demons and paranormal things
the thing that has numerous copied themes -concepts from other games (especially Bloodborne) makes it even worse
i had the same opinion as him... i m sure that lot of people started to complain without even buying the game ...
if you ask me , i want a sequel ...but with a "color swap"
aka exactly the same open world size, mechanics, gameplay gunplay , survival gameplay and hord culls but not with freakers/zombies, instead create a different threat /organism (aliens, dinos, mutants smhting else).....smthing like a spriritual successor to Days Gone
if Metacritic is everything for Sony then must immediately relieve Druckman from director duties, for his fail on LoUS2..imo he is "killing" ND ...metactitic user score there is 5-6 lol (lets be honest here, these are the true real scores that matters, not awards )..... and guess what sales were nt that good too

for us fans may have some pleasure to receive news (bad or good) ...but a journalist/and fans judging projects before even early development is wrong from Dev studio standpoint ... revealing that ND employers (probably and directors) have nothing to do and just started a remake is completely bad for ND ...s...

@jukins yes you r right.. ...is not best but very good...... has dynamic gameplay which is rare phenomenon in games anymore...for example LouS2 has similar tps zombie action gameplay but is far inferior to Days Gone because it is very cinematic/restricted......
Gameplay wise is probably the best game on PS4...extremely addictive and dynamic
as i said again if it had a diffrent cause of threat (aliens or mutants or smhting similar ) in order to not use cliched zombies and better concept design for protagonists (this rough biker culture is nt that relatable for everyone outside of US)...would have cleaned up the awards

1) Japan Studio may have been stripped by its old personel (who imo had problems with productivity and direction) but most probably Sony prepares ASOBI team ,successor of Japan Studio which can take on Nintnedo s Mario team man to man
2 Days Gone 2 would have been a completely different game than the first game..more similar to DayZ and other massive online Zombie ...
what i m seeing is big efforts to slander Sony game development, without knowing a sht about what is happening inside the companies and with hidden agenda which favors the competitors (who by the way havent showed anything worthy for their next gen consoles)

yes exceptionally good mechanics there and fun gameplay also keeping you attached to the whole game....though it had some flaws , mainly artistically that made the game not so appealable at first sight (main characters design , overused zombie lore etc)
Lat of US re-REemake is a clear mistake from Sony ...they just waste resources on (not so good after all) ND...could have started the development of a completely new IP with less money
As for Days Gone 2 cancelation their stance is not good but is not bad either....Days Gone had excellent fun gameplay mechanics (horde mechanics , continuous need of survival and scavenging , very solid and fun made gunplay) and also a very detailed open world ....but it lacked a lot in ...
there s alot of buzz about Sony restricting creativity in favor of bigger games ...lol....( having available games like Bugsnax at launch...)

No Metal Gear Solid 1.. ,No Resident evil 1 .. No Crash Bandicoot 1.. No MGS3 ,No Monster Hunter 1.. NO Sonic 2, No FF7 ?...the list is terrible ...has lot of Marios and Zeldas that i agree with most of them ....but should have included all the above mentioned games and
its not just the resources mechanics ...With Assasin Creed everything is mediocre the animations , the gameplay mechanics, the cheapy visuals ...the games are boring at the very best
