Are these really some of the top developers?
Well to say the least. I think traditional jrpg's are taking on more westernized roots trying to make games more like Mass Effect, thus losing their more traditional eastern based roots.
Demon souls is a damn good game, but it isn't traditional.
How the hell are you getting Sony losing with that logic?
Nintendo does have the most to lose or gain at E3 though.
Those games play more like wrpg's. Top jrpg's this generation are SO4, Tales, and Eternal Sonata.
psn has been off and on since it relaunched.
They didn't have to die. Square Enix made them less relevant this generation by making horrible decisions.
The demand for jrpg's still exists, the developers just suck at executing them nowadays.
Don't forget how hyped and excited we all were for ff13, then SE let us down by not including traditional jrpg elements.,
This isn't a game being developed by Microsoft or a xbox exclusive, make sure everyone relizes it is being developed by a small company called CD Projekt. They are very well known and loved by us PC gamers too.

Can xbox 360 games run on a PC. I'm not sure who is right about this argument, but I'm guessing a lot of you don't know what you are talking about.
I am sure that if this rumor is true (360 games on PC) than the emulation is easy on a pc otherwise why would MS even bother. So the real question is whether this rumor is true or not?

Honestly, I don't think it ever was a current generation console like the PS3 or the 360. Yet it outsold them. The wii was a risky gimmick from a company that had been in decline.
The N64 and Gamecube were not big money makers and by the time Nintendo entered this generation they simply could not compete with Sony or Microsoft so they made a gimmicky last generation console.. and it paid off big! ...

Last gen. It took me a long time to decide which next gen console was better while I was perfectly satisfied with my ps2.
The PS3 still has life.
It'll need PS4 or 720 equivalent graphics. Not to mention less shovel-ware and better 3rd party games like in the snes days.
Kinect won't last long. Maybe just a little longer then ps move. Neither were game changers like they were ment to be
I think the biggest problem is that both Microsoft and Nintendo are showing signs that their consoles are starting to reach the end of their life.
Nintendo finally can be a player in the console war (again) due to the surprising success of the wii (which was basically a last generation console with a gimmick) This time around they can afford a current generation console.
Microsoft's 360 popularity is starting to decline and is starting to be overtaken by ...
He is biased towards good games. What a jerk, bad games want good reviews too.
That "Cut the rope" game easily cost millions to make and was in production for years.
Naughty Dog needs to up their game.
