That petition is getting closer to their goal of 40,000! I can't wait for it reach 100,000!
Media always seems to miss the main point and wants to tell the world that the problem lies in something else rather than parents who should be responsible.
Cake is the most important question Julie =)! The second most important is what kind of cake it is, whether it exists or not =P.
I also am curious if new puzzles elements will be added to this game that Valve never considered.
It sucks that it has taken them being harassed to truly understand what gamers that play their games experience. It should be no surprise to them with the reputation their games carry.
I think the upcoming Xbox Live's reputation system will help the cause and I believe Playstation and Nintendo should do the same thing. What do you think will help?
I really hope they go back to Resident Evil's roots with the horror atmosphere at least. It would be amazing if they went back to Resident Evil's roots with gameplay as well! Capcom, as you said, has to step up if they want to win back their fans. As someone else said, the Evil Within will be a hit. It is Capcom's choice whether or not they will contend against the game or be crushed by it.
One thing that I thought was curious was the fact that Norman was actually a field agent. Is it typical for FBI profilers to carry a gun and investigate in the field? I actually thought a job like that would be more at an officem but that is probably my naive understanding of the FBI. He certainly would get beat up less =P.
It really didn't do enough. I agree that there should have been more endings or something else. It just misses the extra bit of awesome that other horror games have. I am surprised it even had a sequel. I want to know how bad it was honestly lol. Would you ever try the sequel?
It would be interesting to see other Nintendo games like Metroid or Zelda invaded by Mario and I hope someone would pick up a project like that! Who would you want to see in the Sega counterpart invading the Sonic games =)?
I really enjoy playing this game as Link or Samus. I haven't checked out the Castlevania skin though! Wouldn't it be funny to see the Vic Viper in this game as well =P?
Can it be that they will actually try to innovate for once? I guess we will have our answer August 14th. I am still skeptical though.
I didn't expect Terranigma to be on there so I am curious to check that song out at some point. Like you said, there are so many SNES games by themselves that have a great soundtrack that you could have filled the list up with. I'll get the Guile petition up right away =P.
I would recommend a lot of the Super Metroid songs, Zelda, and Earthbound songs but those aren't really out of the ordinary lol.
I am totally with you that Quantic Dream can improve their future titles by looking to The Walking Dead as a guide. The amount of scene changes and differences in the Walking Dead surely surpass Heavy Rain just from different choices in the dialogue let alone the major decisions in the game. If Quantic Dream can do better with deadlines and try to get more involved with dialogue choices that matter, Heavy Rain would go from a great game to one of the great games of video gaming history like t...
I am excited to see what Mikami does with The Evil Within. It will crush what Resident Evil's current "potential." Honestly, why doesn't Capcom take a hint from what he says? He is the creator the series, so if he thinks it is failing than why go against his wisdom? I love the insert in the interview article, "The Evil Within emphasises stealth over shooting and, as Mikami proudly asserts “will not feature boring QTEs”. No QTEs. He just gets it. He believes in the small...
I doubt anybody who isn't a troll, "MLG" player, or teenager who thinks this game is full of skill rather than exploitation would want this game to stay the same. While the game can be fun and a guilty pleasure, the points you make would go far to fixing the issues that plague this series. Going with your multiplayer cooperation point; it would be nice be able to work as team with people online. Maybe there should also be some way to ban players out of objective matches who aren...
I never played Lord of Shadows, but I rather see Castlevania go back to the side scrolling action of its earlier days. I think the Metroidvania style has been done to death with Castlevania and it would nice for it to return to form. As much as I like the Metroidvania style, it felt like the success of Symphony of the Night "inspired" the following 10+ games and was being milked for what was worth.
That sounds really intriguing; I like the type of stories that are non-linear and go back and forth over a series of days or a specific time range =). It also sounds like a Metal Gear Zombie game with those stealth elements or also the Last of Us =P. I can't say that I have heard of a zombie game with enemies that never die; I am thrilled by that challenge. I am excited to try out Siren and its remake =).
I think it will be hard to find someone who actually sympathizes with Vincent except for cheaters of course lol =P. He is not really a likable character and you spend a majority of the game keeping secrets from two women. It really is a bad boyfriend sim =P. I think Vincent is not supposed to be a character that most people can relate to and more of character that just provides an interesting experience and keeps you intrigued to see what happens next. If it was a good person stuck in this st...
It is really despicable that a majority of gamers would do that. As you said, it is not surprising and that is really sad. I am not sure if it like this now because of just an overall change in gaming culture but also in internet trends and culture as well. Either way it is bad of course and David Vonderhaar and other game developers should not get shit for games they create, believe in, and make adjustments to. I think being a troll has gained popularity like being a hipster nowadays and thi...
I would like to see a Walking Dead text based adventure! I think that would be another game that lends itself well to that style. This would be a wonderful trend and we could see some really creative ideas with video game classics =). I agree that it would be cool to see an entire Heavy Rain text adventure game. What do you think about the idea of a Resident Evil 2 text adventure =)? Or do you have any other games you would like to see in this form?
I played it once but I didn't really take the time explore the game. I would be interested to play it again and get all the endings.
