It will have zero impact on the next box because the 720 is an already built console and so any ideas Sony may have given them with their reveal, well its way too late to implement them at this point without a total rebuild and that would cost MS billions and make them late to the party. Only time will tell but if the nextbox is lacking in comparison to the ps4 then MS will just have to suck it up and concentrate on the games, something they have failed badly at this gen.
The WiiU is a massive mistake and will cost Ninty dearly.

I wouldnt be worried about Sony either. I'd be more worried about Nintendo seeing as its that casual gamer demographic they are fighting for. MS as had no interest in the hardcore gamer for the last 3 years and will further continue their descent into shovelware territory with the 720.
