is an educational math game that I used to play in the late 80s/early 90s. Also around that time there was a game called NUMBER Munchers, used to make school fun.
I used to love those educational games when I was small.
the power up rewards take so long to get with that website but joining was free, so I got one a while back. Things like this make it much better to join tho.
I wonder if this is only for the members who pay and not the free members like ME?//? or maybe they dont send it to people who they know have a ps3 already like me?
I didnt like it as much as the last one, from what the demo showed. It is linear and you can rebuild anything that is breakable(mainly walkways and pipes), and the caves/rocks dont get damaged still.
I thought the new bug enemies were lame.
porting HL1 to consoles was an after thought to valve yes. But have you noticed that most of valves recent games are coming out on consoles at the same time? Since the orange box(HL episode 2) they have brought most of their games out on consoles at the same time. Left for dead 1 and 2 and Portal 2 all came to consoles at the same time. This is very different than what they have done in the past.
Im just saying that they will probably wait for next console gen to release ...
there are alot of games that I get for the SP and I never even touch the MP. Like dead space 2 or BS 2, and I barley played the multi in RDR.
I even played demon's souls offline untill my new game +. I love SP games and usually place a priority on a great SP over a great multiplayer any day, not just when I cant play online.
seeing how many people are angry about PSN being down, or how many are just now going back and playing old SP games really sho...
I think that they are waiting till next gen for HL 3. The current consoles probably couldnt do a great job of running what ever they have in store for HL3, probably a new engine.
its not like PSN needs to go down for people to enjoy SP games.
I usually prefer SP games. The fact taht PSN needed to go down for alot of people to get back into SP games is telling that those people would still be playing online mostly if it hadnt gone down.
I prefer SP games even when online is working. I go through SP games really fast when a new one I want arrives, I usually only play a few online games over a longer period of time.
its great for fans of the DW series, but those taht dont like them probably wont like this one either.
I rally like the story mode so far and playing splitscreen and online is pretty cool too.
I may have heard him other places but those are the main places I can remember. its not that much really. Its probably only noticeable for most people if they play his games back to back.

EDIT- The worst would be if you own PS3 and 360 and your 360 got RRoD while the PSN was Down. And then you started to get strange charges on your CC and you 360 got lost in the mail. And if the PSN was down for 3 more weeks and the day your 360 is delivered the mailman leaves it by your door, but it rains and floods you porch and gets it all wet. And then PSN comes back up but your dog chewed off the left analogue stick ...
tahts just crazy. I lost my bubbels talking about PSN outage in a perfectly normal matter. I even said Im not mad nor do I really care that much, but I think sony is not helping themselves in the PR department. Repeating the "we didnt know the extent" line in every statement they make isnt helping them much, but even that made people mad.
I like both 360 and PS3, People dont like it if your opinion is anything other saying everything they like is perfect or the best. And since they feel that about what they got, they hate anything positive you say about the one they dont like.
The hate for the other system is the problem really, why hate something that you dont use anyways? I dont have wii but I sure dont hate it, I would be happy to play some games on it if I had one.

hackers are lame and are criminals for sure but sony had years to beef up security and they did nothing.

It would be news if there wasn't going to be a COD game released this year.
By now I suspect that everyone and their mother knows that there will be a COD game every year.
Im pretty sure that it was in their press conference(or maybe FAQ) that they said that SOE and PSN were seperate.
Before they knew SOE got hacked they said that info on SOE was safe because PSN and SOE are separate. But now they found out that there was a separate attack on SOE and now are saying that that is one of the reasons why PSN is taking so long. I just wonder is SOE and PSN are separate or not, and if that is just another excuse as to why its taking so long.
Sony is saying that PSN will be down longer because of the SOE attack that they "didnt know the extent" of. But Im pretty sure that they said in an official statement somewhere that SOE and PSN were not connected.
The only thing im concerned about is them constantly "not knowing the extent" of these attacks. it happened more than 2 weeks ago and they are still saying "we didnt know the extent."
Maybe they need to hire some new e...
keep saying "we didnt know the extent" every time they need to make an excuse. thats the reason the hack happened in the first place, they "didnt know the extent" of their security hole for a "known hack".
Fact is, this wouldnt have happened in they had "known the extent" at least once along the line. Almost 3 weeks later and they are still saying they "didnt know the extent of the attack." Thats kinda pathetic if you ask m...
I cant wait till this game comes out.
all PSN needs is to come up and continue working. COD addicts will be right back online asap. This might be my next online game for PS3 tho, or maybe uncharted 3.
