You cant play a SP game offline??? thats messed up.
Then they could focus on the game and not make as many compromises. Then once an excellent game is made put their resources in to doing a good job on console versions. I already doubted it would be as complex as DX 1 but I still have hope that it wont be as dumbed down as DX2 was.
Games like Fallout 3 are popular on consoles so maybe the DX devs will not go with stupid things such as universal ammo, yuk. The original had around 3 types of ammo for every gun so im hoping this ...

I should at least be able to choose a separate playlist to play the old version. Not sure why ND and 1.05 supporters are so against giving it its own playlist(either one I dont care). THOSE NEW NUMBERS ARE DAILY PLAYERS. IT USED TO SHOW HOW MANY PLAYErS WERE ON AT THAT VERY MOMENT.
It used to say between 5k and 10k were on at any given instant bbut since update 1.05 it has said "DAILY PLAYERS" as opposed to players on at that moment. So the change in numbers isnt what you think, they just reported daily players instead of players on right at the time you log on.

I think the 360 ports were just too sell to the console market and make some quick money where the game costs more then on PC disk or especially on steam.
Valve doesnt need the Console money but ports to the consoles is easy money for them especially on 360.
Source games dont require a great PC since you can have an older CPU and run the games good as long as you have a decent gpu(better than one in consoles= pretty cheap).
their ports to xbox and ps3 are just for extra money which they really dont need.
I get valve games on my PC because Source games get way better support on PC.
the people who took over for him have yet to make a good game. Both sigmas were simply ports of Itagaki's games with added content.
Im excited to see what game hes working on because I play games and dont care about the guys personal life or that his next game will most likely be on 360.
Because they know that his next game will probably be awesome and be on 360.

I will most likely buy whatever game he makes if it is a ninja game or action. NG1 and 2 and sigmas are awesome. I also had sigma 1 and tried the demo of sigma 2 and thos ARE STILL the games HE MADE. So the best games tecmo has had in the last 6 years were made by Itagaki and his team.
Tecmo is looking pretty crappy with quantum and their best last year was a port of NG2, which Itagaki made. I think alot of his team left Tecmo too so hopefully there are some of them to help...

Its cool to see them put youshi in it. I remember how much I wanted to ride yoshi in SM64.
