The people on the News4gamers boards are in the absolute minority on any opinion expressed. Neogaf the 1up boards and even Joystiq is lit up with pretty much everyone calling this the best launch of all time. Sony is going to sell their 1 million insanely fast. Stop acting like you well being as a person is connected to what systems "wins" this generation. Its pathetic.

I caved in and bought a 360 for gears(Totally worth it) But ever since I got the hang of the weapons in Resistance its all I have been playing online. The game is amazing I have been playing with the neogaf guys and I truthfully havent played a console multiplayer game this good since Halo 2. I think as word of mouth keeps spreading on that game it will continue to be a huge force for ps3.
It appears Sony is selling every PS3 they make.

My god thats insane. After March when sony launches in Europe with games like Heavenly sword and motorstorm and resistance at launch they are going to sell every system they can make. They could declare victory by next winter if these keep going like this.
Man I give Microsoft huge kudos for the effort but its over for them. Blue Dragon was the only thing they had that while there are wii and ps3 droughts could get people to cross over and it didnt work.

it of course definitely did its job of reaffirming that I will buy a 360 for this game. But the whole beginning with the kids was just lame as possible I thought it was going to be for viva pinata. But...As soon as Chief is actually show absolutely awesome! I still think Gears was the best game related trailer I have ever seen though.
Im so excited for this game it looks amazing!
And ask anyone who has played RFOM from beginning to end that game is a killer app man. It comes this close to being almost as epic as HL is for me but at the end of the day HL is still king. But man RFOM is a excellent game you should really give it a go.
And..Im not bashing Halo the first two games are incredible and this one is definitely going to be too. Im just saying keep the hype in check and try to use more facts.
Mass Effect and Assasins Creed look awesome definitely next gen stuff but come on Gears is just awe inspiring its so good looking. Assasing Creed and Mass Effect are more amazing for the leaps they are taking with gameplay and character interaction.

You guys can hope and pray all you want but Gears of War is going to reign as the best looking xbox360 game for a long time. Especially if the screenshots of the game in that egm were any indication. Also the in-game pic they showed from single player is so inferior to this its not even funny. Now the game is definitely going to be amazing but give it a rest guys Gears for the Graphics Halo for the Gameplay.

My god Peter has finally completely lost his dang mind. And I hope that is just a tech demo because it looks exactly like Fable 1. Im still sore over the first fable Peter promised all this crazy stuff and it didnt deliver on any of it.
