Halo 3 is out and I have been playing it. and I can honestly say Killzone 2 will murder this game. Sony owns 2008

Mass Effect will not be that appealing to most. Halo 3 yep, but Heavenly Sword really takes the Cake. I atill haven't beat Heavenly yet but Im close. Best Animation and acting ever on a console.
It doesn't make the game better or worst so it doesn't matter to me. But to a techie I can see how it matters. Next Gen isn't quite where it should be but just upscaling and emulating. Believe what you want but Sony will get there first.
I have the demo and it looks exactly like a Pixar cartoon for one. There are new fun weapons ect. I couldn't get into the PS2 two versons of this game but I have played this demo over and over again, at least 25 times since I got it.
Weird, today they announced that the game went gold so why would the game be delayed. I am not sure I believe this.
In my opinion it is not the graphics that make Halo 3 so great yet they do look alot better. It is the hype for one, the 4 player co-op, the ability to record game play and play it back. The Map editor, and the online play. The pacing of the game is much better than Halo 2 also, there were times in Halo 2 when I didn't know what to do next but with Halo 3 I don't have that problem.
Killzone 2 multiplayer beta, it could happen because of Halo 3.

The PS3 has a solid line up this fall and Halo 3 cannot stop that.

360 failure rate is like 77% and Halo 3 gets the other 33% cool. PS3 failure rate is like less than 1%
Bioshock, Oblivion, and Gears of War are the Only three games I have played on the 360 that deserve a 10/10. Halo 3 was given a 10/10 and was not deserved.
I bought my Xbox when Halo 2 came out and could never really get into it. I bought my PS3 when Resistance came out and I love it. Everything about it is better its just that HALO came out first and it is on a American owned Console(which I do take Pride in) but I can't put it above every other game. There were times when I enjoyed Halo 2 but I COULDN"T FINISH THE FIGHT. It couldn't hold my interest long enough. Its something about the level design that wasn't working out for me.
I have the PS3 and the Xbox 360 so there is no way I will be bored. I Play alot of Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, and when I play my 360 I play Bioshock. I might get Halo 3 but not that excited about it. How I see it if you are crazy about the Halo story then you will love this game. I could never get into it and I have Halo 2. Now Gears of War an Bioshock is a different story. On day one I will be buying the Sequels.

With the Current User base of both systems, FFXII would still sell better on the PS3 because the people who bought the system bought it to play FFXIII, MGS4 and Killzone 2.
The one thing I do have to give Bungie props on is the 4 player co-op mode. I don't remember ever seeing that in a game, But the graphics is just more Halo. Well at least the Cut Scenes look alot better.
If Sony looses these games it will be a hard sell for them. Yes the have alot of new IP Exclusives that are great but these are the two that everyone knows. Uncharted, and Killzone 2 will sell consoles regardless but MGS4 and FFXIII IS THE ONES THAT WOULD BUT THEM OVER THE TOP. Either way only MGS4 will help the 360 in America, i see no one in Japan buying 360 because FFXIII is on the system, they will still buy a PS3 if this game is multiplatform.
