Logic would say that if a port improves on just about all aspects of a game, such as graphics, camera, framerate and add tons of new content, that should warrant a higher score. Yea, usually text is what's most important. Actually, it's always the most important to me. Although I don't like going to Kotaku and avoid them, their review system is awesome. It's just a simple what they they loved and what they hate. The reason why is to avoid these arbitrary numbers reviewers love to assign and actually forces people (atleast those who are interested) to read the review and not just go to the number. However, what irks me is that review sites just slap numbers at the end...

I completely agree with everything you're saying. It's one thing to be confident but humility is the greatest of human gifts that most people don't like to open.
