uff em. They don't change what I already bought (paid for KZ2) and I read the review. It was glowing, especially for the tight controls and gameplay (2 important - if not important- aspect of the game) and dinged the voice and story. That's fair if they dinged it and that's their issue but 3 for only those 2. I say hmmmmm....but in the end, I'm still buying and they won't change my intention at all.

from the review you would think the voice acting and story was insignificant aspect of their review. Everything else seems to indicate they thoroughly enjoyed the game.
EDIT: yea, I hear you Kleptic. I paid for the game last year after having 1 session with the beta. Same for my brother and I'm trying to get him a TV, actually help him pay for one so he can enjoy it in HD.

The review praises the control and gameplay (the two most important components of a game) and said the story and voice acting sucked. That's fair to criticize those aspects of the game and that's their opinion. However, you deduct three points for story and voice? Okay cool, what about gears then? Story and voice sucked, yet it was rated highly (deservedly so), even with the issues with the online component.
Regardless of who comes out on top, the difference in numbers and so on; Patcher is always off. The funny thing is that his 'predictions' are always up on N4G, destructoid, kotaku, etc... like he's Nostradamus.

I don't know what EDGE was thinking. They praised the game yet took off three points for voice acting and story. In that case, they should do the same for Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Anyway, when a good game for the PS3 is on the horizon, fanboys came out in droves. They'll come out like groundhogs in February. You'll have your outright fanboys like pp and your closet ones like Jokes on You. It's too bad articles like this gets approved.
