I wonder if its going to stay in beta closed and eventually open, and then try to launch when the ps4 launches. I say this mostly cause I'm in the closed beta, and I see all there very grand ideas in the game. But it really does seem to much for current gen.
I think Sony has learned there lesson with expensive price points. The ps3 was great tech when it launched, it was powerful, had Bly ray, had built in wifi, it was great. But at $600 u could build a really good PC for just a little more. And the vita is amazing for a handheld. But at $250 plus a memory card that's like $50 for a decent one, and a game or two, that's like $350 to $400 for a handheld. That's more than the consoles. So they need to find a good middle ground between p...
But anyway, xcom is awesome by the way. I'm sure it will get lost in the crowd of holiday games, but it really is excellent and very rewarding if your at all into strategy tactical gameplay.

I liked the game a lot, but I wonder how much the first game sold. I doubt it sold way over 2 million, so to release a second and spend so much u have to sell 2 million just to break even is dumb.
Might sound dumb to some, but I'm buying a vita just for this, we'll and soul sacrifice, but that's not till next year. I'm sure ill play more games on it, but co op action RPGs are my favorite.

I loved the dlc, my only problem with it is it just reminded me how much I love exploring new souls content. And I hope they start making a new one. Dark and demon are my fav two rpg's this gen, maybe ever.
Ya the network issues really put a damper on multiplayer. The game was a blast I just spent more time waiting than actually playing. Single player was fun, although fairly short, but still good.
This is the fifth assassins game this gen, I would think I would be tired of them. But I'm so jazzed for this game, it looks so good. And 40 hours which I'm guessing is doing pretty much everything, is a great length.
At first I was like hell no ill wait for the real next gen to start type attitude. But honestly the more I see of it the more I want, but now it's too late to pre order. But I'm almost positive I will end up buying one next year.

That's like telling Mario or kratos to go away. Halo is the Xbox. And although reach was just ok, and odst was kinda a joke, 1, 2, and 3 are classics, and 4 looks incredible. And it's still hugely popular. And has somehow remained unique for an fps. Halo is not going away, nor should it. I mean who isn't excited for halo 4? I am, and I'm even mostly a playstation guy.

Ya how will dlc be handled on wii u? Wii u also has the weakest online setup, Nintendo said so themselves. So it will be interesting to see how the wii u handles big online games. It might be the best version, time will tell.
What no? Borderlands 2 is a bigger more badass version of itself, and is a fun great game. R6 on the other hand is a mess of a game, that I feel doesn't know what kind of game it wants to be. Has some cool ideas and is pretty to look at. But gameplay wise besides being third person, plays very diff from 5, and nothing like 4.
I think all those things will happen except for maybe backwards compatablity. If the rumors are at all correct the ps4 will not be using the cell structure, and will be going with more of a PC easier to develop for architecture. So i worry that ps3 games won't play on it. Although they might figure out someway around that problem. Like if the ps4 could at least recognize what ps3 disc u put in, even it couldn't play it, but then be able to stream that game it recognizes with there gai...
