you mean something xbox did all along. from the original xbox your gamertag could be saved to the 360,dlc could be re-downloaded to the 360, and back-compat was available on 360.
your either a new school gamer or only owned a ps2 which offered nothing towards your new ps3. PSN for the ps2 was a god damn mess and should never be mentioned again.

the pc gaming piracy story is old.
although i have no problem with the witcher 2 going to console....i do think console money makes companies turn sour.
too much money makes companies do advertising on tv. then some kids watching his hollyoaks get an advert for witcher 2 and thinks ohh that looks cool ill have that. then itl be him and everyone else thinking its a lord of the rings game and then complaining its too hard. then they dumb it down for the casual audience.

PC gaming is were its at right now,still as strong as ever.
i was was PC gaming in 2000 then went to console till last year. i dont look back or miss console gaming.
the community is a lot better on the pc. when people talk of the witcher 2 going to console us pc gamers are happy for CDP to get some more money and a bigger audience. yet a console gamer loosing an exclusive would end in a war like it always does.
the way exclusives should work...
