variety and diversity is always welcomed in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, its what keeps the fans entertained. Yet, with your logic, you claim sales would fall.
a female lead would definitely be interesting, but if they ever implement it, hopefully they wont keep the mass audience distracted by the protagonist instead of concentrating on the story.

whoa, i knew the frostbite engine 2.0 was coming to the racing genre under EA but didnt expect it to be NFS, was hoping burnout to utilise it! However, we might still see it incorporated into the new burnout. Nevertheless, this need for speed title is looking very promising, cant wait!
I agree, they should make a new burnout, hopefully incorporating the frostbite 2.0 engine and leading to building damage like how the arcade racing genre is heading towards. Examples like split second and motorstorm apocalypse.
