EA has been making excuses to leave the PC platform for years now. this is just another excuse
Gabe confirmed Source2 when the 4chan mates went to Valve HQ and gave him the Soldier hat, and we all know HL3 has been in development forever. L4D3? of course they are making that it has a huge following in both the vanilla/mod community. i mean jesh.
as someone who does not play console games online, or desire to pay for a service i believe should be free once you buy the manufacturers console no matter if it's any of the big 3, giving Sony and PS+ a free pass after all the hate towards Xbox Live is getting tiresome.
You mates should be angry, not accepting a "pay to play online" stipulations no matter how many times Sony and MS tell you how "great" their service is. you should be REWARDED for b...
the hardware isnt much different no matter how many people post here it is. it will be a repeat of last gen, multiplatform games will look near identical, (what we dont know is how much extra each can tack on like advanced physics, AI, tessellation, high rez textures plus 1080p/60fps) but to make some extravagant prediction that one will be superior to the other when it comes horsepower is naive.
Crossing ive been on the site since '07, it's always been like that and it will always be like that. you cant talk reason into any of the console extremists here.
which mike? Jordan? Jackson? probably Jackson because your comment came off like a sniveling child.
if MS doesnt explain you can sell a used Xbox 1, then might as well start getting the shoves and finish the grave MS already started digging themselves. because it's game over.
the only SE that ive bought and loved is the FO3 with the bobble head Pipboy (which is looking at me right now) and the lunch box. havent like any other that i have had the urge to buy.
just got back from the rental store with a copy to play. got beer, vodka, cigs, food, im all set :)
i got my PS4 preordered as well Star, yet it will never, ever take the place of PC gaming for me. all the things you mentioned makes this platform the best.
and im going to get the Rift when it hits, it looks incredible and a true "innovative" way to play games, unlike the so called "innovation" console extremists preach that consoles breed, which i havent seen since the Wii.
mate you are very il-informed on the subject of PC gaming. please go do some research on the markets' trends, how the PC gaming revenue is increasing, while both MS/Sony's revenue is decreasing.
because AMD provided a cheaper, less powerful product?
this might end up being the greatest collapse in gaming history
hahahahahahahaha, if you cant get a game to work on PC nowadays then you have to be mentally incapable to problem solve and maybe you should just stick to your console, stay out of PC gaming threads, and leave us who have an interest in the hobby alone.
le sigh. the List Guy is here again with what he thinks everyone should play. please stop being that guy.
mike are you really serious? please tell me you are kidding.
Yus star, but what im refering to is how times did we hear how "multiplats will look identical" between the 360/PS3? I believe the same will happen and for exclusives, comparisons will be subjective. Developers will be told by publishers not to alienate the consumer base. Exclusives its all systems go with the hardware.
the difference between the two will be the same as last gen. very few, same 1080p resolution at 30fps. developers want the same "experience" between both platforms. not because one is less powerful then the other, but because both the Xbox1 and PS4 wont be able to obtain 1080p at 60fps
PS4 has the advantage to me because i only connect my console to the net for firmware updates, as i dont play console games online. nor do i wish to "check in" with MS everytime i want to play a SP game.
the hardware between the two is really negligible. both will produce basically the same game when it come to visuals for multiplats. i only care about the DRM when it comes to consoles and connectivity to the internet
it's actually on the Q&A section on the Xbox 1's website.
