and here we go again with console gamers touting specs. if specs mattered and games didn't, you would game on PC. stop it. play games you want on the platform you want. no manufacturer cares about you unless you empty your wallet.
Valve is not going to make it SteamOS exclusive. If you have a Windows machine they are not going to force you to dual boot. You have to be some what tech savvy and there is always the chance of a miss click and wiping a PC clean. It would be very very dumb.
developers decide which is the "better version".
but console gamers from before the last generations say "graphics don't matter". why do they matter now? from the day i joined N4G (2007) it has been about the "games".
oh that's right. because Sony has the more powerful system (with that tablet CPU). now i get it.
Why game on an inferior product? If you thought that then you would game on PC. But I play where the games I want to play are on. So hush.

You see your argument is invalid. PC gamers have a choice to use Steam. Console gamers don't if they want to game online. PC games can be played without having to have an active Steam account, and there is a huge number that don't support Steam as a source of DRM.

It's in alpha and one of my most favorite game in years.
imho all consoles should be BC.
Valve isn't making Steam Box hardware. 3rd party manufacturers are. There is little risk for Valve here financially.
Even in Alpha this is one bell of a game. The interactions with other players is a buttload of fun
And now I don't care about Titanfall anymore
advertising is what will push the SteamBox. if they can get as many games as possible running on the SteamOS, the better. the PS4 and Xbox One can't compete with the availability of the thousands of games available on Steam.
wont happen til the PC version is released. right now in the state DayZ is in dont see it happening anytime soon :( which sucks for you mates because it is a really fun game.
Both consoles suffer from the same limitations. Whiney graphics and less features or all the features and less shiny graphics. Both consoles are one in the same
