Doug Lambordi said "we arent ps3" developers there. yet...only 11 comments by us that were interested in Valve in the first place. obviously no one really cared about reading the article until "oooh, Valve said "we arent ps3 developers" in this story title. frankly it shows me you guys wanted something to hate. and here it is.

your assuming. a developer comes out and says "we dont have the resourses for ps3 programming, our business model is gonna be PC/360" and they are lazy, crappy developers?
Valve doesnt owe us ps3 owners anything. ps3 owners need to knock off this "me me me! i have a ps3! all 3rd party dev's must make me games cuz im awesome with my ps3! if they dont they are lazy, sh!tty devs!" attitude. its sickening. Valve are great developers. OB didnt win so man...
they made The Orange Box with HL:2 and its episodes, Portal, Team Fortress 2, and the Counter Strike series.
where did i say i even wanted to play L4D? and i own a ps3. not a 360.
its very hard to pirate a Valve game. u have to download the executable thru Steam and they have greatly cut down on piracy of their games. if it didnt work why would Valve release Steamworks for FREE for any PC developer to use?
bubble for you. i love how all these ppl think they Valve "owes them" to develop for the ps3. no one is jumping other developers bones for not developing games for said system.
their business model does not see it logical to develop for ps3...maybe that will change. calling them lazy for not doing it is stupid.
calling them unskilled is not fair meus. they dont want to use their resources to program for the ps3...whats all the hate for a developer because of that reason? its their business they can make games for whatever platform they want. im sure there are developers that dont like the 360 or wii and refuse to make games for the systems.

personally i dont care if Valve doesnt like the ps3. developers have their preferences and they have the right to develop games for whatever platform they want. Gabe has gotten flack for calling out ps3 owners (like myself) but thats his opinion. doesnt affect me what he says because Valve games on PC are superior to the console versions.
i only buy Valve games for PC for the fact of Steam and keyboard and mouse configuration. Valve is my favorite developer.

i again agree with the Half Life series. the innovation in gameplay from HL1 to HL2 is what sequels should be. ive played 5-6 hours of GTAIV and it feels soooo....GTAIII. not to mention that cover system is kinda crappy.

completely agree with you. the art design...the personalities of the toons, and winning takes teamwork. i love the game and Valve is taking care of us with the PC version now with new maps, gameplay modes and unlockable weapons for free!
i love TF:2. the depth of game balance and the personalities put into the characters is very refreshing in a multiplayer nowadays. i laugh at the lil quips everytime i play.

i find it quite funny that this article...with all 11 comments in it that no one even cared reading and about Valve until the other N4G thread came up quoting the "we are not ps3 developers" was posted.
idiotic ps3 owners talking down one of the great PC developers of all time who has...with their GAMES...proven they make AAA titles. HL1, HL2, Portal, CS, TF2.
now all of a sudden "they are lazy!" yes...lazy is the correct term for the number...
