As much as the price of the xbox series s is lucrative I will simply go for the cheaper PS5 Digital version.
A little extra money for full next generation console is worth it.
If you have the money get both. Your next gen console of choice and 3080gpu.
Personally I'm more then happy for the PS5 alone.
Since I have 2K20 I wanted to compare. Even though it's just a demo.
Unfortunately, its pretty identical to the 2K20. Hopefully the next generation will add more visual flavor and more realistic animation's to set it apart.
As of right now I wouldn't even bother with 2K21 for current gen.

Playstation 5 controller has features that enhance the PS5 games with immersion designed for it.
DS4 can't do that.
Playstation 5 for me personally. Already have the Switch so it's more then enough for the busy life.

I have to agree..all I have seen so far is mindless action, fps and lots of guns with GTA NPC attitude..

If you enjoy waiting for years to play those PS exclusives that's your choice.
Also you are assuming most of the PS exclusives will be on the PC.
Maybe who knows but you won't see them for couple of years. And even at that point they will cost 10-20$ on the Playstation nstead of full PC price.
You forgot the price point to buy, built and maintaine the PC of that caliber.

However, consoles are cheaper, games have tons of sales every week, game pass is superb and trust me online play is much more enjoyable with minimum to no cheaters and hackers.

I believe that title belongs to the Yakuza series for the last 10 years.
Sleeping dogs is also a very enjoyable game in similar genre but the level of polish and budget lags far behind Yakuza.

Your super video cards cost 300$ in CA alone. 200$ in US.
You can get a ps4 for that price. Dont play the price game..
I'm planning on upgrading my PC this Christams and early next year. It's been too long and it should make a great complimentary to the PS5.
It's definitely better then when it originally launched.
The online is more stable, the changes to the progression system was really what it needed. The loot boxes were atrocious and almost buried the game.
Today's SW Battlefront is a much more enjoyable experience, especially if you're a fan of Star Wars in general.
I'm already paying 79.99$ for the new game. If it goes up to 90-100$ then it will be pretty much sales prices purchase only for me personally.
Gaming has always been a expensive hobby.
I doubt many people play old games ON the new console purchase.
You usually buy next generation to play next generation games...
By that logic there is little point buying new consoles. Just use your current one..
