I'd say the difference is about 8-9 Tittyflops.
I didn't think it was dead?
Mine works well (as does my ps4) #NotTakingSides
Its already finished

But the PS4 Pro is current gen and the Scorpio is next gen, this is like saying PS4 has major advantages over the xbox 360.
Plus this website spread the 'news' over 4 pages FFS. 1/10
My TV supports it, I have a Samsung SUHD (UE55JU8500). I read Uncharted 4 was going to support HDR, thats why I popped it in this morning.
Oh well, will wait for some updates then to take advantage of the HDR.
Thanks :)
So I've downloaded FW v4.0. I've got HDR set to auto, I put Uncharted 4 in to see the difference, I expected some sort of game update to enable HDR in UC4 but there wasn't one. Do the games require patching or is the HDR game mode all done by the OS?
No
Well I've only got a 55", guess I'll just sit a bit closer
Maybe Sony are afraid people will find a way to use the mods as a way to inject unsigned code to exploit the system?
I will buy one on launch day...I really hope it looks better than the mock up though :/
Thanks, that's a fair size
I wonder if the Skyrim Remaster will be as good.

Considering the biggest NES game file size was 1MB having only 30 games on this is shocking. I will continue to play emulators like most other people.
Not even native, same experience as the standard xbone if you have a 4k tv
Edit - I have an xbone running on a Samsung 4k SUHD, if I thought it was worth buying a xbone S just for 4k Blu-ray and 'a few' HDR games I would, my current setup will be fine until the Scorpio arrives next year.
And for the record HDR is not the second coming of Christ.

Samsung refer to their 'Ultra HD' as 'SUHD' so if you see 'SUHD' on a Samsung tv that will support the HDR that you are looking for.
