This is more of a single player game, even though it has servers. The drop off is expected especially once most people collect everything and level up to max. Once the new updates and content come out I'm sure that the player count will go back up.
Yeah, they need to find a different model. How many people are actually playing multiplayer? Most that I know setup their own dedicated server and play with friends or alone.
I can see that. I'm interested in what the game will be once they add PVP and PVP pal battles. I'm wondering if the battles will be turn based or realtime? Will you fight in an arena/court or will you have to chase each other over the map? The addition of Raids will be a big change as well.
Man, it's not like they just built on a formula of a game that they already created in the past by adding popular elements .................. oh wait.

Some GPU Prices are down right now so it's a good time to upgrade. I do understand the wait for the 4080 though. I'm currently running the 7900 xtx. I had to buy a new monitor because I foolishly broke my G9!!!!! It turned out for the better though as I like my new monitor. It's smaller, but fits perfectly with the aesthetics.

I like the game. I have been playing it most of the afternoon. It's not a blockbuster single player linear game, but it is a time consumer. I will be enjoying this with my two younger sons. They love pokemon and actually thought that I was playing a Pokemon game.
