Most people on N4G just copy and paste stuff they "heard" or "read" from other websites if it looks good to their respective console. They really don't understand what any of it means. Like I asked one guy, which is better 1080p 30, or 720p 60? No one really knows, or can tell you.
One person see's 1080p for their console of choice and they claim victory. The the other sees 60fps and see's victory. It's a lose lose for devs.
Money, stockholders, and politicians.
PC games do not get the hype that console games get. They don't get the marketing. They don't get the endorsement deals. They don't get the front page news on magazines. They don't get talked about for the most part.
Most PC games aren't overhyped. They get the scores they deserve because reviewers aren't trying to appease a fanbase or a publisher (not every game of course). A good game is a good game and a bad game is a bad game.

Microsoft has no chance selling more consoles in Japan than Sony, unless they rebrand it as the Apple One and make it all white.
I applaud them for trying, but I just truly believe they should not invest too much in that demographic. If they want to make a dent, they need to make a handheld and get the Japanese devs on board for that.
It actually did have more games, in the beginning, garnered for that market. They just don't care for the product.

I just dont understand it man. Our governments, politicians, leaders, are always telling us how they care about people but they let too many things slide for the all mighty dollar. It's sickening.
I understand the U.N. wants us to have a world economy, that is another discussion for another day, but these gaming machines, and other products all together, need to be made where a decent wage is paid and the conditions are fair. Even if we have to pay just a little extra....
