Great blog m8. I really dont think MS will go the sega route and only make software next gen. The xbox 360 for the most part has been a tremendous success I believe they are actually making a money off it now. Also ms has way too much money to give up on such a large market.

Resistance sold 3 million because frankly it was the only ok game at lanch. Look who it was competing against genji. Also reason Resistance gets no respect is because its garbage. Its a dated shooter pretending to be a next gen game. Everything about the game screams generic from the vin disel lookalike protagonist to the run of the mill chimera who look awfully uninspired.

I dont me to be a kill joy but this years ps3 line up is weak. As it stands the xbox 360 has more exclusives , more jrpgs , and the behemoth of games coming out this year Gow 2.

Mgo is just another example on why Japanese developers should not incorporate a multiplayer addition to their games. Its a sad joke of a multiplayer game. Horrible gameplay decisions, horrible netcode, and horrible menus. Especially after the whole konami id disaster. COD 4 reigns supreme over mgo in every way. MGO is just a sad joke.

To me Capcom is one of the few devs that always delivers. The first next gen game was from them dead rising. Then lost planet was a pretty awesome game. Dmc 4 was a treat also.

games dude heres the thing its still sonys and psn screw up. If mgo was on xbox live I guarantee that it would not be the disaster that it is now. Why you might ask because everything on live has to be approved and inst so reliant on 3rd partys like psn. I like being able to buy an xbox game and knowing for the most part that it will work great online. Cant say the same for ps 3 games.

@the wood. Uncharted, Heavenly sword, resistance, and ratchet would have no problem fitting in a dvd with some compression it might even load faster. Remember how much useless data replication they used in resistance to help ease the long load times.
