They review the retail build and it sucks. You cant expect them to bump up the score for what the game might be someday in the future. At its current state socom sucks and the review reflects that.

Well Xna could be greater than lbp or any service so far offered on live or psn. If the games are the same quality as dishwasher and the other games they let us sample late last year then XNA is a winner.

I never understood why people get angry at MS's advertising campaigns, I give them credit for selling their game and earning their devs money.
Chaos, basically anyone that has been making games for the 360 using xna (a free toolset that Ms has given out for about 2 years now) will be able to upload their games to xbox live, then 48 hours later if it gets approved it will be up to the creator to either set a price for the game or make it free. Its alot like the flash games on websites people dont charge for those they just want people to enjoy their creations. Its pretty much lbp but taken to the 1millionth level, because you get ton...

This game is all about creating and sharing levels. Gameplay just isnt there. There are only 2 different controls , grab, and jump. thats it.

A review is an opinion. a 9/10 is perfectly fine. Hell Id give the game a 7/10 for being too casual.
Shortcomings as a human ? thats the thing Itagaki was far too awesome for us mere mortals to understand. He did not wear those sunglasses to look stylish. He wore them to protect our delicate eyes from his almighty stare. Itagaki truly a god amongst men.

Did anyone else notice the lagg, or the delay between gunshot hits and death animations ? Might just be lagg. Also I hope there is dynamic spawn points because those looked like some of the worse spawn points I have ever seen, he meleed like 5 dudes in the same spawn.
This isnt using the unreal engine. My guess is that its using the same engine in infinite undiscovery, but star ocean 4 looks much much better.
