The next consoles wont come out until 2013 so the race is a marathon. Not a sprint. And even in the sprint, the PS3 has already outsold the 3rd60 for 2 years now in a row (yes, this year as well).

I was quite turned off at first too. But once you start getting into multi player, its almost as good as COD4 multi player.
The zombie mode is a nice addition.
But the single player is a drag full of dull. And coop mode (since its single player campaign) will mean just as boring.
The online mode is truly the meat and bone of this game. Read my user review COD World at war where I explained everything a week ago.
