It really does seem like a current-gen system. The standard of games doesn't look like it will be any higher. Of course games will start to look better, but it would seem somewhat irrelevant when the other two bring out theirs. Its reminescent of PS2 Vs. Xbox. A bit of a leap but not enough to make anyone go mad.
And I know game quality doesn't always rely on game hardware but in many cases it does. I mean, try running GTA, Just Cause, Crysis, etc on a Wii. Do you get my poin...

I ain't a PC Gamer, but this side of it always interested me. It's nice to see that modding is still relevant and allowed by developers. Seen a lot less of it in games lately. The videos on the GTA 5 will be a good laugh!
But dude, it was also the worst console. It's all about the price, and the Wii was really cheap in comparison to its competitors. I don't understand why you'd settle for less. Imagine a Nitendo console on the same level as the others.
You would have all those awesome exclusives and all the third party games like GTA, Resident Evil, Burnout, etc, along with all the awesome exclusives. Most of the games at launch are just simple ports and and there is much more money for pub...
I hope some nuns show their buns. I doubt those nuns were following much of the rules to be honest though, since they had machine guns and looked like they were up for it. I understand what Square are saying though.
The game will essentially be the same. Judging from the games on the display, the Wii U is not much better than the current generaion of consoles. This feature is a nice bonus, however small, if you decide to buy one though. Personally, I'd find it kinda of distracting and you'd probably get hit cause the game doesn't pause and you'd be looking away from the screen. Not convinced.
But it won't be able to play some of the next generation games, meaning less quality and less third-party support. It's just the Wii all over again and that's fine if all you want is Nintendo's awesome exclusives but some seek more value than that.
