The thing about needing a chip is a lie... The T500 is a last gen ps3 wheel and has the same ps button ps3 function as the logitech driving force gt .. yet the T500 is supported and the DFGT is not. It is about drivers. Full supoort to use the share function and the ps4 menue requires a chip, but to work in game does not or the old T500 would not work in game... sorry logitech try again .
