First off let me say, since you seem to have misunderstood what I was saying, that I am not talking about Xbox after I said PS4 was ahead in UI when it launched. After that it was specifically in response to his reply about the PS4. Next, what don't you get about minor updates? I prefer the way Sony is doing them in bigger chunks rather than with the PS3 where it improved A LOT over time but it was gradual more than all at once. I got a PS3 in 2008 so I don't know what it was like bef...
Hmmm by your definition Halo is generic too and I'd agree! Not because it's bad but because you can call any game generic and be right unless it's completely different in all aspects to conventional gaming.
Eh... TitanFall was more overrated. That game was forced on everyone and had a way bigger ad budget with ads in theaters, more dev commentary, GameStop pretty much ONLY advertising it, etc. It wasn't as good as this game either.
Well one could say it was far ahead of the Xbox One to begin with. 1.70 was great and 2.00 is awesome and coming soon. They're doing more than they did with the PS3 so far. I don't mind infrequent updates if they are big updates. A bunch of small minor updates is less appealing, imo.
Nintendo hasn't attended TGS in a while. In fact, I'm not sure if they ever have but for the last few years, nope.
That doesn't make much sense... It doesn't come out till February, you're gonna have to hold off on it no matter what. I've also heard great things about it, mixed things, etc. All games have that even The Last of Us did.
@gameon - Phil Spencer is still there and he was very pro DRM. It wasn't one man it was ALL the people in charge, they just used Mattrick as a scapegoat to try to change their image.

Exactly the PS4 already has way more games released and a whole lot more in the pipeline. If you like the one, that's your preference and nothing wrong with it, but most people prefer the PS4.
Well it would be nice to have a more competitive company in the race. Sega did more good for gaming than Microsoft ever did.

While other consoles have had exclusives since then the X1 has had nothing and just having them all at the end of the year doesn't make up for the fact that they've had little to nothing for over the first half of the year.

It's good for gaming if the competition is competent. In this case it's great that Xbox is failing, unless you prefer having all of your rights taken away.
It's a good score regardless of it being really early. I think in a day or two we'll see some more of the big websites reviewing it.
My roommate's X1 came out of the box not able to read X1 games.... -_- It reads DVDs and Blu Ray movies but when you pop in the X1 game it says to insert an X1 game and doesn't recognize it. They looked it up and apparently it is a problem and MS will fix it. Still, ridiculous, and he's pissed. He can play digital games though so it's not all bad.
Say what you want, I've seen it with my own eyes. I'm not saying it's a perfect game or that everyone hates it is a fanboy, I'm just saying it's quite strong so far with people hating on it who obviously haven't played it. You can tell dude, I mean you can just tell the bogus stories from the real ones. They are so pathetic. Even the stealth trolls it's easy to tell who is real or not and someone who genuinely doesn't like the game gives reasons but doesn't...
@darthv72 - It makes perfect sense! They are trashing it because it is a company who used to be an """Exclusive&qu ot;"" high profile dev on their system that have not only gone multiplatform but given favor to the system they haven't been on for over a decade. This website is all the proof you need, I've seen quite a few people claim this is a flop and to wait for the MCC....
They skip high and low rated critic reviews ALL the time. That's why it's not a good source to go to get the whole picture.
No I'm serious, we've already seen the Halo fanboys come out of the woodwork on this site, it's no different anywhere else. You can always tell who they are if they're subtle or flat out say MCC owns this. I just hope they are prepared for the backlash when X1 exclusives come out and aren't perfect...
^ TitanFall is even more repetitive than Destiny and much more shallow. Both fell flat on hype judging on comments here anyway. I bet if this game got tons of 10/10s before it came out people would be singing a different tune just because so many let scores influence their opinion. Anyway I don't think any games this year will be amazing, there'll be some that are really fun but not amazing status. TLOU is the only one this year that can claim that imo.
