8-8.5(ish) for me like most of the reviews I have read. A 5 is ridiculous, if the person really couldn't find ANY fun in this game I feel sad for the person.

How you get a well said status is beyond me. I don't think you have been playing games for 20+ years because guess what content /=/ quality. Look at all the greats of the past games like the original Need For Speeds, Project Gothams, Test Drives, Burnouts, Midnight Clubs, and none of them had massive amounts of content. Gt3 sucked it was the only one I was disappointed in, it was terrible compared to GT2 and sadly Forza 5 is as bad as GT3. It's trading content for nice graphics.
As far as GT being boring well only if you don't like challenging racing. I can see a burnout guy not liking it sure but that doesn't make it boring.
Lol suuurrree... It's good but not any better than GT6 and not close to PC Sims. It also has Project Cars to compete with soon not Driveclub it's not a full on Sim.
It's called publisher money. TitanFall was just as empty of content as DriveClub but you didn't see lots of reviews mentioning that.

Most reviews have been positive but with such low scores on some it doesn't reflect in the average. This game doesn't need damage to be undone because those who like it will get it. A good majority of the haters are Xbox fanboys you can see them out in droves.

Yet you won't see those trolls here. My God never have I seen so many trolls for a game than this here and even on Amazon.... I'd go as far to say even some reviews are trolling like GameSpot, it wasn't even a review barely had any info about the game. It's sad how some sites have such double standards too. The same sites that gave Forza 5 good reviews are slamming this for lack of content.... But didn't F5 only have 13 tracks? It also lacked weather or even a standard day...
