MS surely has gotten hate but it has mostly been from gamers. You constantly see the media saying PS4 has no games(look at this article) yet when the Xbox One had NOTHING from March 11th to September 31st you didn't see any articles saying X1 had no games from the mainstream media. But you can't compare them to last gen's exclusives because that had 8 years of accumulation to cherry pick from. As far as first years go the PS4 has been on average with a few great titles and some ok ones because you can't ignore 3rd party exclusives. The first year of any console isn't amazing and so far they have both had an average first year but they only point it out on PlayStation 4.

Exactly, I hate the bias. They ignore TLOUR(despite it having only sold 7 mil on PS3 so quite a substantial amount of people didn't play it), they claim LBP3 is also on PS3. Yet Forza/MCC are only on X1 according to the media. I'm glad gamers have shown they aren't stupid enough to fall for it. Word of mouth is stronger than bias in the media or fanboys.

Maybe that wasn't clear but I meant not as a negative towards this system, not everyone will like everything after all. I guess you could take that as me thinking it's a negative for you but that's just how I took it. It seems you aren't really impressed with gaming as a whole right now which is why I would not want to be you is all.

Ah I'll have to look at their names for favorites. I have a few but didn't remember their name. In Chronicle mode I made a character that looks exactly like Cloud Strife from FFVII. :D
I felt the same way for PS3. Wolfenstein was a great game but also on PS4 so it doesn't really help the PS3. Not that it really matters anyway, it doesn't detract anything from either system because it's still on them.
inFAMOUS Second Son & Last Light, Final Fantasy 14, The Last of Us, Samurai Warriors 4, MLB 14 The Show, many multiplatform games, and yes even DriveClub are all games I've enjoyed on my PS4 since February.
Now onto a more detailed analysis. The game just has so much to do, so many stories to go through. Also with the Chronicle mode it really adds a lot to the game. Gameplay is fun, who doesn't like just massacring 1000s of people on a battlefield? Plus now you get to choose two characters per battle and it does a better job of showing what your objectives are. Anyway I'm done, great surprise this game is.

It's MS did you expect them not to sugarcoat the truth? The fact that they said shortly they will have SHIPPED 10 million, SHORTLY, shows they knew Sony was going to win NPD and they had to make something to sound good. Shortly can mean anything from a day to a few months. Lol

Xboxs exclusive line up is just as bad and I'd say worse. The whole year was pretty much barren for the one. This article is crazy.
Last year the GTA bundle helped the PS3 overcome the 360 and now they have another one with TLOU. Plus they have a bundle for Lego Batman and LBP3 for families, I'd say they have a solid BF outcome.
SO is very limited and pretty much sold out. COD is already on 360 so why would that entice you more than crossgen games on PS4. I don't get that logic at all. :\
Guilty Gear and Planet side 2 are my most anticipated.
Well I'm just saying if you're going to do that then you shouldn't have any expectations for anything greater in any consoles first year. That said it has had an average first year regardless with games varying from great to ok but far from the no notable exclusive games this article is saying. I bet you we won't see their X1 article point out how it had no games for most of the year or similar with Wii U.
