Darksiders apes god of war...a great game to base it on no doubt..but if it just the same linear gameplay as the other 2 god of war games then I think it wont be as popular as some people think...hell playing darksiders I think I would even jump onto a ps3 to get god of war 3 myself if they tried something different.
But I chose my wallet to figure out which one I wanted...I will get bayonetta. One problem is the darksider graphics are terrible with the constant screen tearing....first game where it is ridiculously terrible....cringe worthy sometimes.
But did very well this season...they can possibly continue to be second in America....and before the idiots start crying that "North America is not the rest of the world"...we are in a GLOBAL recession and when America is in recession..the whole world follows because America is the Leader in this world right now no matter what some people say.
clipping is atrocious yes but if you look beyond that..this game is what god of war 3 will hope to copy....god of war gameplay with legend of zelda pathfinding...you people need to see and play this game. Im saying it now...if god of war 3 is the same slash and hack and no gameplay like zelda that darksiders copys...then its a bust.

Good to see the most ridiculous of both camps are slowly getting banned or losing bubbles. Commenting on the story I think both consoles have a way to go to be "maxxed" out..Ridiculous arguments on both sides show the idiocy of many.
Im sure the uk would count for at least 40-50% of sales for this game...sonys most loyal customers get the short end of the stick again huh.
Dragon age is great...although sometimes my characters are so brain dead they stand around when i get pummeled on and i have to switch to them and start hitting...Do not mess with the tactics because it seems after i tried changing them they stated acting stupid.
I have played 3 of the five games mentioned in the article....red faction is a great game...along with dragon age origins..both have huge missions and great characters..I cant defend left 4 dead 2 much because I have not played it as much as both games but i can say I dont feel cheated with the game...welcome to 2010 with the ridiculous story's.
It has always been evident of sony speaking too soon when a great component that is nowhere near close to release. I patiently await playstation 4 and hopefully a cheap price and a console that is miles ahead of the competition.
of course it does....what you dont think uncharted 2..the "best" game on the ps3 to date....not selling a million copies in less then 3 weeks not considered a flop...some people say forza 3 flopped but sold more then a million copies in 3 weeks...I guess people have different or selective examples of games doing terrible..you obviously have a different opinion.
if a game like uncharted 2 cant make great sales..what chance does this have...nill to slim.....I also think alan wake will also flop pretty hard as well.
Yes..they are talking about the demo..so you are saying from that article..they are not including that zipper technology...those "innovations" will not be a part of the final game....lol.
wow...vgchartz when they favor your console war needs...lol...Playstation might be strong in europe and asia but North America is not biting....lets see when final fantasy releases how many copies sell will tell the tale.
@ different games imo...bayonetta has that devil may cry vibe going for it...dantes inferno has a god of war vibe as well..both 2 different games....I have a feeling people will be dissapointed with god of war 3...looking at game informer today and the only inovation I read about was flesh being able to be ripped of bodys...seen that.....some sort of zipper technology to where guts spill out...I mean...graphics are looking great and all but its all the same thing.
Its crazy how one quest stacks on another..I was in the middle of one quest and 3 more problems popped up until I could get back to the original...great game forget the graphics..the story should not be missed.
better to steal exclusives then buy them.
No matter how many times people on this website type GOTY...it does not change peoples habits in buying ps3 games....I laugh how some said ODST was a expansion pack but it managed to sell 1 million copies in one week...hell..for a expansion pack to sell better then the "goty" in one week is pathetic.
well....North America is the only place where ps3 owners dont buy games....this story does not mean nothing....I mean..last week of the year and not one ps3 game in the top 20...big deal.
Loved the game..but that does not mean it has to stay on course being the same linear gameplay...something new..something like darksiders..out of the ordinary..might be able to get new fans as well...I dont agree with your stance on having the same gameplay as past god of war games....something new can spice up a old formula...look at the zelda series for a example....can you imagine yourself playing 3 or four straight times with the 2d view overhead...they tried that side scrolling zelda...w...
