People should realise that consumer media (anything not related directly to gaming) is but a pinch of salt. Reviews are usually heavily influenced by advertising revenue.
People don't buy Maxim for the games, they shouldn't get het up on it.

Games have been the same price for close to 25 years. Looking at my mega drive games with their stickers, they were 40 quid. Nothing has changed and this is just an excuse / pity searching.

Yea it's made by some of the members who contributed to Painkiller. They had substantial input on PK. I think NecroVisioN is their first full game, rather than just creative jobs.
