The Scorpio will play games just fine. I have no problem with the way my pro looks and plays on my ks8000. The Scorpio has plenty of power, if Microsoft can create some decent exclusives it will be fine, as long as the price isn't too high.
Microsoft has been a epic fail this generation and I won't fall for this Scorpio gimmick. I will wait for ps5.
The ps3 outsold the 360 even though multiplats ran alittle better, it was Sonys first party offerings that swayed the gamers. I see the same thing happening to the Scorpio. The Scorpio isn't going to sell as well as some people think.

I wonder who started the rampant 3rd party marketing deals. Sony learned this desperate tactic from Microsoft. Unfortunately, it never worked good enough for Microsoft. They did this alot with the 360.
The delusional about all those other things you just listed is absurd. Exclusives matter more then the controller and differences in network, backwards compatibility. Microsoft has tried this all before and failed. Its about the games.

Just bought a pro when it launched and won't be buying a scorpio to play multiplats that look a little better. The Scorpio would have to have a lot of killer exclusives to warrant a purchase for me

No it was Microsoft's dumb arse policies and higher price that drove gamers away. Lack of exclusives didn't help either. Specs helped, but we're not the deciding factor to lead the demise of the xbox one.
Unless the exclusives are better on one or the other. We know which one will have better exclusives at a lower console price. That be Sony
The console with less powerful specs will have advanced game support, while still being very respectable, at a way better price. Ps4pro has them beat with great looking games and lower price
