Kinda seen it coming that they would do this but I don't see it as a bad thing being that it's not a mini game like the others.

Then great job on behalf of the beta staff. I'm sure thousands of people were pissed not even being able to load the site (like myself) let alone apply for the beta. Checked the site right now and it seems to be back up but in maint mode, so we will see how it works out.
Same here PS360, I had it loaded a bunch of times and it would just time out so I gave up and said screw it. I really want to get in it tho!

Playing it right now as we speak and I'm enjoying it alot more then my 360 version, and the sixaxis controls are spot on!
Of all the gaming companies to ever grace this god damn planet EA has to have some of the worst rep and track record with gamers hands down. I will upfront totally admit to anyone thinking I'm being a fanboi trying to protect the PS3 over this without a point but it's EA!

Gota say this has to be one of or THE best game ever made for a console. I still have it and play it to this day from time to time, only game ive ever agreed deserves a 10/10.

Haven't heard of the game untill now and already had a few good ideas of what it could be like. Hopefully they are not just trying to make money off the "Halo" name/story and make a Halo RTS with something interesting in it to compete with the new amazing RTS games comming out.
If this is true for release on Tuesday I will be getting it there instead of the PSN. $39.99 for the headset version.

I feel the same way about it. Not sure if I will buy it or not yet but since the gaming drought is over I will be playing something else for sure. Halo 1 was epic and will always be a classic to me but Halo2 just didn't do it for me, played co-op with a friend got maybe an hour or two into the campaign before we dropped it.
And the multiplayer seemed like any other style of die and respawn in 25 seconds for hours on end without any real tactics I stopped probably after 2 days beca...

I find the consoles priced within a reasonable range for what they can each offer with their different technologies. IMO without consoles to play games on for 5-6 years we would probally have to buy a PC every 2 years at 3-4 times the cost to keep playing current gen games.

*My Guess On This* If you Buy the game on account "Monkey" and play it on your machine but then want to play it on a friends using the account "Monkey" you need to wait 24hrs.
The difference seems to be that you can't go and give a friend your account to download the game and then he uses HIS account to play it. You need to be logged on the SAME account you origionaly purchased the game on and if you want to play it on another machine you need to wait 24hrs....
