I do understand what you are saying, but the PS4 eye was not forced onto people, people werent forced into paying an extra amount because there was a camera included.
I bought the KZ:SF bundle which had two controllers and the PS4 eye, as it happens i wanted KZ:SF and two controllers, this package had it all plus the camera and for the same price as just buying a PS4, KZ:SF and two controllers, in essence, i got the PS4 eye for free.

C'mon Septic, you gotta admit Halo 4 was well below the standards set by the rest of the series, what can they do to dramatically alter things? Answer is nothing, Halo makes MS a bucket load of cash, why change something that makes you a ton of cash.
TBH, i am not really bothered either way, my little lad loves it playing Playroom, but they need to release some Move orientated games.
Also logging into PS4 is a breeze with facial recognition, just sit there with controller in hand as you power on and the PS4 logs me into my PSN account automatically.
Both the Rift and Star Citizen are on my "to buy" list for this year.
Hopefully at E3, they will announce prices and release dates for both.

Destiny, however looks a different kettle of fish, finally some innovation is being bought into the FPS SP/MP universe, gaming has been crying out for something like this for well over a decade.

Personally, i thought Halo 4 was the worst of the lot.
Halo will be big, but Sony will have their big guns there as well.
Once again, E3 is not MS's personal game show as many Xboys like to think.
All i keep reading is "Wait for E3".
That is a big problem on here, the xboys think Sony have realeased the PS4 and are doing nothing further to improve it, they think MS will be the only company at E3 showing off games.

You do have a point, the PS2 for a long part of it's life was the only console available, the xbox challenged it for a while, but that to could not match the PS2's draw to gamers.
These days, we have multiple gaming platforms available, Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, Windows, Linux, SteamOS, IOS, Android. All these have contributed towards a smaller market share for each platform.
I do think the PS4 will sell, but will strugg...

PS3 launched in 2006 in the US and 2007 in Europe.
This will be the MP game of the year, shame it is not coming to PC though.
Already signed up last year for the PS4 beta, hopefully this will get me back into MP gaming, so far every FPS has been just generic has hell lately.

mate, it was worse then, alot of really hateful nasty stuff was being said to people for being pro Sony, I didnt join up till last year, but I have been comming to N4G since 2006, the present fanboyisum is nothing compared to 8 years ago.

Totally agree, I have two Asus 4gb gtx 670 cards in sli, I tried a third in there, but only saw neglible returns in fps, certainly not worth the extra £420 for a 3 way sli.
Thats US only, it is closer to 5:1 in Europe. According to my buddies at my local game, 4:1 in UK.
