Had day off today as my little lad is off school, started playing SS about 10 with full charge, 7 hours later am on second bar.
When I game at the weekends, the DS4 will last me the whole day no problems.
I also have a DS4 on my PC, that lasts about a day as well.
Lol, don't you also go to a massive expo and pretend you are using your own powers but in reality you have more powerful conduits showing those powers.
Hehe
I have no doubt cloud (computing) will have a massive role to play in gaming, but just not right now. I am a network engineer by trade and have been working in this industry along time, I will tell you now, the world's web infrastructure is not ready to handle the kind of information exchange MS and certain fanboys on here state.
I am in two minds about this, as I game on PC and PS4, I am torn between this and the Oculus Rift, fcuk it, I am gonna have to get both aren't I.
Looking forward to this, my Asus 4gb gtx670s in SLI are ready(hopefully they are supported).
Urm, didn't you just fork out an extra £120 for the bundled kinect?
I would imagine Move would be a optional purchase anyway, you wouldn't expect to play games like Eve: Valkyire or Project CARS with move controllers would you.
Don't forget the extra secret gpu built right into the kinect and also the 6gb of ddr4 ram hidden inside the controller, all it needs is the coming of the messiah (DX12) to bring it to life.
But of course, that is all covered by a super secret NDA, which even the top people at MS don't know about.
Morpheus and Rift will do just fine on there own.
You comedian........ Lol
It's the main reason I haven't bought an X1 yet, I think kinect is unnecessary pushing the price up of the console.
I bought the 1st kinect for £150, with-in 6 months, I had unplugged it and thrown it in the cupboard, total waste of money, all those BS promises from MS, everyone remembers Milo right?
I am not prepared to spend £120 extra for it to control my TV with my voice (half the time, it does not work anyway, as witnessed on my mates X1)I have ...
New SSX is crap, to many in game transactions like buying armor or flight suits, don't even get me started on the rewind function, pointless.
Tricky was the best of the series, by far. I still boot up my PS2 to play now and again.
Anyone remember Pipe Dreams?
Great game paired with great graphics, have spent alot of time just gliding up buildings to look at the vistas from the top.
If this is the level of graphics the PS4 can achieve now, jesus, just imagine what it could do two years when the devs truly know the system.
@morepowerofgreen
"I bet Directx 12 has Azure dev tools built in under NDA.
I see you have been sucking on misterx's bloated teat again, everything that moron says has a NDA involved in it.
i love reading your stuff as it makes me laugh so much.
"This is why so many devs are coming out saying MSFT has something huge that could be a game changer baffled MSFT won't tell people"
So wha...
Lol, TBH, it's not on top of my shopping list, I want to get the Oculus Rift first, but that is rumoured to be coming out in 2015, but if the X1 is cheap enough, I will take the plunge.
Damn, still to high for my liking, the way it's going, it should be down to £300 by Christmas. I'll get it then.
Well said Wagz22.
In my day, i wanted to unlock the ferrari, i had to type in about 5 pages of code lol.
LOL. I still remember going to my local newsagents and picking up my monthly Crash or Your Sinclair mags, it had a cassette tape(that's right folks, cassette tape) stuck to the front packed full of demos, game guides and poke codes.
I do miss the print media, unbiased reviews, no trolling, no fanboys, just pure gaming reviews.
Side note, i found a Your Sinclair mag in my attic from 1990 the other day, they were reviewing Strider 2 i think, 24 years later...
Have you even played it, honest question.
Any one remember poke codes for the Spectrum, or am I just showing my age now.
I dont get it, can other users actually buy the game you create with-in Spark?
IS this a MMORPG or just a tool to create one?
