You are right, i work for a well known car manufacturer in the UK, the amount of times we have started proceedings against companies in China for copying our designs is just stupid silly.
We even have dealerships over there yet they still blatantly copy our cars. i know that BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Ford all have lawsuits ongoing in Chinese courts.
Counterfeiting is a massive problem over there, i'am afraid that is not gonna end soon.

Excellent, while i wont be getting it on PS4(i am part of the PC CARS beta & my Rift Dk2 kit comes in August), anything VR related is exciting.

At a political level yes, at a commerce level no.
Everbody seems to forget that both the PS3 & PS4 are made in china, there are strong trade links between the two countries.
Through work, I have been out drinking with guys from both countries at the same time, they are all good fun to be with.

Your forgeting the 360 was supposed to be the more powerful graphically, cheaper of the two and that the PS3 was a total 5h1t to programme for, yet it eventully caught up and beat the 360.
This time round the PS4 and X1 share the same architecture but the PS4 is the cheaper and more powerful console of the two.
The PS4 will continue it's growth strongly.

You could get a million signatures and MS still wont listen, the only thing that talks to MS is money.
Just look at what happened to Windows 8, millions of people begged MS not to drop the "Start" button, but MS did it anyway. What resulted was way way lower sales than was predicted, 12 months later, they released 8.1 with a "start" button(still not what people wanted), sales have increased, but not to the magnitude that MS predicted.
