So true. Molyneux talks so much game like he is the second coming of Jesus, yet his Fable games he praised so much of before release continually disappointed (especially 3 imo). Honestly wouldn't trust his opinion no matter what he said.

Eh I felt the same way when I saw the E3 reveal. If you looked back on my comment history I was always saying there was way too much hype for Titanfall, but after seeing more and more gameplay I reckon it is far enough away from COD so it feels fresh. I mean, it is created by the original makers of COD 4 so of course it is going to have similar elements, but the mech vs pilot vs ai balance is a very unique aspect to the game that hasn't been fully implemented into another game before. <...
Why would you wait to get the PS4 version of diablo 3? There is literally NO benefit of this than other versions, it is hardly a graphically or physics intense game.

Okay, firstly your argument is completely invalid. Have you actually seen gameplay or even played Halo? If you have then you cannot tell me that it at all looks similar to Titanfall, in fact Titanfall doesn't look similar to any shooter out there. Secondly, Gears of War is a third person shooter so compared to both it is again COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It is like comparing Killzone to the Last of Us or Uncharted.

Hmmm I thought they went a bit too far with Gears 3. While I liked the addition of bosses and barriers and such, it was simply too hard with only 2 people (maybe it was the map design I wasn't too keen on). I kind of miss the days of Gears 2 when we'd place shields on the bridge on Jacinto and just camp there the whole wave.

Uncharted perhaps influenced Tomb Raider, but other than that these games, while great, haven't really been all that 'important'.
The overall most important game has got to be Call of Duty 4. Not only did that cause the transition of mainstream titles to the modern era, but also introduced the multiplayer unlock and progression system which pretty much every first person shooter has since copied.
I would also suggest Minecraft (PC games count, right?) as it has, and continues to, spawn an aslmost endless list of survival games mimicking the general mechanics of the game.
Very pumped for the next Gears game. Gears of War 2 was easily in my top 5 games of last generation. I played way too many hours of just that mode let alone the awesome campaign. Here's to hoping that Black Tusk's next Gears game is a follow up instead of a prequel. I know that the story was pretty much wrapped up in Gears 3 but prequels never have the same level of suspense or intrigue. Also hoping that it is made using Unreal Engine 4.
The only real benefit that Xbox Gmes With Gold has over PS+ is that the games are permanantly playable after you download them, which is neat. But unfortunately they are old as hell though :/
